Brass Metric Churn Weights

A nice set of highly polished churn weights, with the metric value stamped on the top of each weight. The weights look great, are easy to handle and use, but I have only scored a '4' because the integral cast iron stand is not included in the package and has to be bought separately. To my mind the stand is absolutely essential to the set, being specifically machined to fit the individual weights, and keeping them organised and relatively secure - bought together they make a very nice set indeed, and thoroughly recommended.

None of the weights are accurate, the 5 grm. weighed 6 grms., the 10 grm. weighed 12grms., 500.grm. weighed 499 grms. etc., very pretty but definitely not for practical use. I am returning them very disappointed as I have very accurate avoirdupois weights which came with the balance scales years ago and I wanted metric ones.

Very Pleased with this product it does the job wonderfully . The weights in grams very helpful for years I have been doing Pounds and ounces . A little expensive I thought but buying separately meant I could keep my original scales.

The weights were fine but I actually wanted Imperial not metric. My fault.I returned them for a repayment but I'm still searching for it on my account.

Good product, good service but better description would be good. It would be nice to know when buying the product what weights are included. ie, 1x500g, 2x200g, 1x100g, 1x50g, 2x20g, 1x10g 1x5g.

Very disappointing. Wrong weights supplied andreturned. Correct weights supplied in Decemberbut without the black tray to hold them.

Love these, I have had my pear shape scales for years, they came with the old ils and ounces and as most recepies now are gramme I thought i was going to have to buy new scales. but a whizz to amazon and low and behold, weights, fantastic. Good quality, well packaged and quick delivery. Very happy
