Fast but terrible breaks
I bought this bike right from the store itself in Venice Beach. At first I loved it as the bike is very powerful and rides for a long time. You can throttle without pedaling at a great speed. Then after only 2 weeks the breaks start to go. It's at the point where you can't even stop and it's dangerous. Stay away from any downhills trust me. I had to go all the way back to Venice and have them fix the brakes which he did for free since I just bought it. The mechanic took a good 15 minutes and keep in mind he knows the bike well, has a lift rack, and all the tools. The manager said he was surprised as if I am the first it happened to. He said it's a heavy bike so brakes can loosen over time. But then 2 weeks later it happened again. Now I can't keep going 15 miles to the store and have him fix the brakes. I used the little tool it came with to kinda do it myself. Now that it has been about 6 months even that is not working. It have to tighten the brakes every single day and the front brakes don't even work at all. I now need to sell this bike and look for another. It is absolutely pointless and dangerous to have a super fast heavy bike with no brakes. The manager does not have an answer for me. He should give me some money back for the bike. I could have sent them many customers but I don't want to kill my clients
