Here's what it looks like!
I just got it, so I don't know how it's going to work. I think it might be diamond but have no way at this time to really know. However I took a microphotograph with my cell phone on my microscope with a 40x lens!I'll have to update this once I use it and see how it actually works.

Not for shimmer spray
I attempted to use this diamond powder in my wife’s favorite scent for a shimmer look and it did not have the look that mica powder gives! Luckily I can still use this powder as a fine grit for polishing

works, But not all crystals are the same size.
The Diamond powder works, But not all crystals are the same size. There is some of them much bigger, instead of polishing they making deep scratches. I tried two times om deferent glasses, problem still the same (DEEP SCTATCHES) I re polished with Cerium Oxide

Doesn’t breakdown giving you results.
This paste is the way to go,Buff with it but be careful its a hard abrasive even if is very small it doesn’t breakdown like other abrasives can.The paste form is handy with no waste.

OK for crude purposes I suppose - not for precision lapping
This 800 mesh diamond grit is not well graded. There are some very large particles that create very deep scratches. I think these are large grits as the particles do not break down quickly like an agglomeration would. Useless for my purpose - pressed charge cast iron lap lapping. I had some Lasco 600 powder on hand and finished the job, just not with as fine a finish as I wanted. I'll stick with a known source like Lasco in the future. How like a Chinese source to cheap out on grading. There are ways to further grade the powder, but 5 grams is such a small quantity that the methods probably would lose most of it.
