Great little weather station with plenty of features and a nice clear display. Easy enough to set up. Had this weather station for 8 months in which time it worked perfectly. Then suddenly it stopped transmitting the wind speed. Tried changing the batteries but no difference. Contacted Youshiko who advised to try resetting both units and sensor but still no luck. Sent it in to them and they sent me back a brand new unit with no hassle. New unit working perfectly for the last month.

I am responsible for a 6m (20 foot) long gazebo that covers the patio of our block. The patio is surrounded by three walls of the building facing south. It is sheltered from the wind from most directions except due south. Gusts from that direction can seriously damage the gazebo. I bought this weather station to warn me when wind speeds are picking up. At some point we have to take the canopy off the gazebo quickly as strong gusts roar within the confines of the three walls and can shake it to pieces. This device has shown me that a 20mph (32kph) wind from the south is the one that produces the worst gusts. On windy days, this will show me when the wind is racking up to danger level. Invaluable device.

Bought this equipment Oct'20, then shipped to me here in the Falkland Islands.Fitted in January 2021, all good.. Easy to use..3 or 4 weeks ago, temperature read 30 degrees C, when we had 5cms of snow (winter here).Reset, OK, then it happened on a number of occasions since.Yesterday, the wind speed gauge seized up..We have at the moment a good 30 knots of wind and the blessed thing will not revolve.I won't be purchasing another one of these in a hurry, very probably never again.

Bought in October 2020, now it’s September 2023, it is still working as stated. I ride a motorbike and it’s great for early morning outfit decision making with the temp and ‘feels like’ selection.It looks dirty, but a quick wipe over when the batteries are changed makes me feel useful. I can’t remember when I change the batteries as it is that long between changes.The weather prediction is the function that confuses people the most, it’s guessing the weather forecast for tomorrow(ish).One day I’ll get a better/bigger one with more functionality but I’m happy at the moment.

Everything still works after 3 years except the wind speed which is a great shame because this is the main reason I bought it! It still spins but transmit no speed measurement as others have reported.

Bought this excellent indoor/outdoor temp & wind gauge for our front garden as our back garden is surrounded by trees so my other Youshiko weather station would never give totally accurate wind readings. Set up is extremely easy just make sure you follow the instructions in the manual a have a paper clip handy. You will need a 2m x 32mm diameter pole for best wind results although in the data supplied it says you can use a 28mm diameter pole i found this size is too small and had to add a lot of packing to get it firmly fixed. All in all an excellent bit of kit with multiple read outs.

I purchased this unit Sep 2022. After 14 months, outside temp suddenly read 30c (mid-winter, UK!!!), 99% humidity, zero wind speed.....I have taken the sensor apart, & the reed switch appears to have corroded as others have reported.I would expect several years use from this, so not impressed.
