The battery lasted less than a month in the outdoor unit. It has already been replaced by another door bell. All it is good for is an intercom, if you have the two chimes. I tried swapping the batteries, per the instructions, to charge the dead battery while still being able to use the bell. Quality is so bad I couldn't even disconnect them. Looks like they are glued into the connector. The connector pulled out of the board. I am keeping it for the intercom function, which seems to work pretty well as long as they are on the chargers all the time, but the door bell has been replaced in less than a month.

Got this item for a wireless doorbell for our warehouse/delivery door. It was easy to install and required no external wiring since it was battery operated and uses wireless technology to transmit. Unfortunately, the first unit worked about 1 month and since it was still under the return window, I chose to return it and have it replaced. The second unit worked about 3 months and is no longer returnable to amazon. The instructions give poor (at best) instructions and no number to call to get support. Both times it was the outside unit that stopped working. I do not recommend this item at all.

So with this I ended up hearing the door bell on both stories of the house and a built in intercom to contact anyone on a different floor in the house or even outside near or at the door bell. This is the coolest door bell I've ever owned. No more yelling for each other in the house. To cool! Easy to use and install. Great battery life.

We purchased this product for my elderly father who can't make it fast enough to the door when a caller comes, and thus, the caller ends up leaving. It works very well for him. The inside unit is right by his side (there are two inside units, so he can keep one in another room if he wants) and when the doorbell rings he can immediately talk to the caller. It is very simple to use and not confusing at all for someone with memory issues.

Have not yet installed the product because of issues with charging. Place units on chargers, light red for “not charged”, later light is green to indicate “charged”, while still on charger the light will be red again. How does it become “not charged” while continuously on the charger? This indicates it is defective. How do you not quality control check the products?

Two months and door bell does not work. Intercom works but really doesn't matter if no one can ring you with doorbell.
