At this point having used these tools 5 or 6 times I have no problems at all. As a matter of fact they are well crafted, attractive and extremely practical and also heavy enough to grasp and balance in one hand while holding the cigar in your other hand. These tools help solve the age old problem of cigars that have a difficult draw . (And much safer than an icepick which can split the wrapper or worse. I am still experimenting with the best way to remove the drill when you reach the depth you want. One should note that it is wise that you grip the cigar firmly without squeezing and remove it slowly. But should you also turn the tool at the same time? Anyway I love these gadgets.

I found these tools to be very useful in creating a good draw from hand rolled cigars. You do have to use caution as to not come out the side of the cigar

You know when you get a cigar that’s too tight? This will open the air wave and allow for a great cigar experience. I’ll be giving them as gifts in the future. Very nicely made too. Keep in my cigar bag so it’s accessible when I stop in at the lounge.
