RodenNieuport 28 French-Built Fighter Airplane Model Kit

A nice little kit that makes up into a pretty airplane. The only real issue is a lack of locating pins, which makes lining up parts a bit tedious. But overall, this was a fun model to build and turned out ok for me.

For a $25.00 kit I expected a bit more. Hard to assemble and directions could use more detail. To have to kind of figure out where exactly you should attach the wing struts. There are small holes to show you but the pins on the struts do not fit in those holes. But, if you want this particular plane, you are kind of stuck with it. I had purchased another of their kits but I returned it unopened when I saw the contents of this one. I really bought it because I was building a F-102 and I remembered a Twilight Zone episode ("The Last Flight") where a WW1 British fighter went back in time to a 1960s American air base. There were lots of shots of this little bi-plane with F-86s, C-124s, and a F-102. This kit is the bi-plane used in the episode. The kit also has only French markings so you have to paint it in Royal Flying Corps markings to make this fit the episode.
