Best glue around for household and craft use.
I have been using Alene's Tacky Glue for a long time and it never fails me. I use it for craft projects and things that break around the household and then some. I even use it outside in the veggie garden to hold twine in place and it works great! It didn't get soft or melt and held the twine even in higher temperatures. It is easy to use, dries quickly (but not too quickly) and adheres to most surfaces without a problem. I always have a bottle or two of Tacky Glue around the house. Very handy product to have around and the price is right. It has many, many uses!!

Tacky glue has good adhesion
Aleene’s tacky glue works as a quality adhesive. I use it for my quilling projects.I found the glue is difficult to squeeze from the bottle. I had no problems in pulling off any dried glue at the opening and the lid fits tight. The glue dries quickly which is good but inhibits pouring an amount on wax paper and working with it.

worked great for gluing felt
I needed to repair a felt decoration. This worked well and dried perfectly clear.

Great glue at a great price.
I needed new glue for a miniature model and couldn’t beat this price. The glue works great and adheres quickly with a strong hold. I’m working with miniature wood pieces and did have to weight some pieces to get them to glue properly without warping but that happens with any white glue I’ve tried.

classic staple that's handy to have for many craft activities
This is a classic staple that's been around for as long as I can remember. Inexpensive and a must to have handy at any time because it's more flexible than other glues. Thicker than school glue, better bond than stick glue, safer than hot glue.

Great for kids crafts
We've used this tacky glue for fabric, paper on glass, pompons, pipe cleaner animals, and other projects. If the grown ups are making the projects, you may want to use a glue gun, which will be faster. But if you are working with kids, and don't want to risk anyone getting a burn, tacky glue is the way to go.A little goes a long way.We first used the tacky glue at a kid's workshop, where each kid built a small toy sailboat. Some people used Tacky glue, some people used Elmer's glue. The tacky glue dried much faster and much stronger than Elmer's, on both sails (made of fabric) and all the glued wooden parts (e.g. masts). The kids even played with the sailboats on the beach (in the water) for a long while. Almost a year after, we still have one of the boats, which has had its share of time in the bathtub, and it is still going. In addition, it washes easily before it dries.Note that a little goes a long way.Now it is our glue of choice for kids crafts and projects other than pasting paper on paper.

Exactly as hoped, easy to use and apply
Worked great for gluing felt to felt as I'd hoped. I think it dries clear very well and was easy to work with. Bottle is easy to use and fits well in my hand, soft squeeze. Love how all-purpose this is; can use it for lots of projects. Good control out of the bottle.

One of my "go-to" craft glues
Aileen's Tacky glue is one of my "go to" crafting adhesives, along with Quick-Grip, E-6000, Loctite Super Glue, Mod Podge and RV silicone. Each one has a different quality/consistency/drying time that I use for different kinds of projects. One of the nice things about Tacky Glue is that, unlike some of the others I mentioned, it doesn't have acetone so you don't get the toxic fumes/offgassing and don't need to use it outdoors only, I've used it mostly for smaller wood and fabric crafts where I needed a relatively fast seal but also need to be able to have more than a few seconds to reposition something - and to clean my tools and hands off if needed.
