Lost a very expensive ring in a heater and was ready to hire someone to retrieve. I tried everything I could think of with plenty of frustration and lost a few other things down the vent along the way. It was turning into an even bigger disaster before my eyes. Figured out what I really was going to need and found it quickly on Amazon. Knew that the claw was going to be perfect but I also needed a light in a dark space. Once received I practiced with retrieval of the other lost items and learned to use. I finally went after my precious ring and it worked perfectly! I hope to never need it again, but am so glad I have it. A true must have for any klutz.

I ordered 2 originally. On one light did not light, other one light was very dim. Returned for 2 replacements- 1 worked with very nice bright light, other did not work at all. Contrary to the info on the pictures that the batteries come with a clear insulator, none of them did leaving the batteries subject to accidental drainage.

I got this device to use while I rebuilt an engine. It really came in handy. A nice surprise was the LED light at the end of it, in the middle of the 4 pronged claw. That makes it super handy.

I use this for retrieving things out of the garbage disposal, mostly for my wife and child, the light makes it handy to use for the garbage disposal.The light sometimes works, sometimes not

I work as an avionics tech, and this has already helped me out a few times when I've dropped hardware in hard to reach places of an aircraft.The light inside of the mechanism is great, as I dont have to hold a mirror, mechanical fingers, AND a light... It frees up your hands to maneuver the fingers exactly where they need to be. The magnet is an added bonus if whatever you dropped is magnetic, too. Really ensures the fingers grab hold.Only downsides are that it uses button batteries as apposed to something more common, like AAAs, and that the end is a (understandably) a little large, possibly making it unsuitable for tighter fits.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

I dropped my stylus to my Ipad under my sofa as it fell between the cushions and was waaaay back into the couch. This handy little tool grabbed it for me and I got my stylus back. So.... I give it 5 stars!

Very well made tool, with magnet, claw and light-it has everything I needed. Mostly I use to pick up stuff I drop on the floor-I can't bend over so well anymore. Arrived promptly, well packed. Excellent value for the cost.
