Lion Pet Costume Small

I have an 80 lb golden lab and the medium size was a perfect fit for him. He wore it to a costume contest in the park and was a hit with the crowd. Everyone wanted a picture of their kids with him. I fluffed the hair up with a comb and added a furry hair scrunchie on his tail, and it was very life like. People were doing double takes because he looked like a real lion.

Used this to make my pup the not-so-Cowardly Lion of Oz (to go with his girl Dorothy). Everyone thought he looked SO sweet! We think so too!Would have given it 5-stars but the ears were different sizes & it doesn't look as nice as it does in the photo (despite several attempts at trying to smooth it down). The fur is kinda crazy but what do you expect for the price?! I like that I can just slip this over my pups head and snap a few pix & we're done! It matched his coat so well we had to laugh! Would imagine it would be uncomfortable for extended wear because it covers their ears and because it would get hot! I mean, you're putting faux fur over real fur! Nonetheless, it worked out well for our needs :)

We ordered the size Large for our 50 lb pit bull and it's a little big. I was able to make it a little smaller for him with a safety pain so now it fits great

My dog looks adorable. I'm going to have to use a safety pin or tack it a little tighter because it slides off too easily, but it's just too cute!!

1. Out of the bag, it was flat and crushed. It took a lot of manipulation and fussing to get it to poof out a little bit, and even then, it didn't look that great.2. It didn't come with a tail, which most of the manes on amazon do. (I bought this one instead of those, because this was the only one small enough to fit my JRT.)3. My do HATED wearing it. It wasn't exactly a great fit, and was only good for the 5 minutes it took to take pictures. The wig would move and slide, and then she would shake and paw at it until she removed it. It doesn't LOOK comfortable for them to wear, although I'm sure nothing for a dog to wear IS.4. Still, it did what we needed it to do, and was the only one I found that was made for small dogs.

I bought this for my Bichon Frise / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Mix, he weighs about 28 lbs. It is a tiny bit big, but it looked really good on him. If he were going to wear it for more than a picture I would return it for an x-small or just safety pin it to make it fit a bit tighter. I really like it. It does not look as nice as it does in the picture, but it is very good for $12. It is well made for the price. He didn’t like wearing it, but was fine with it being on for the picture and he really looked like a lion.

It arrived and looked rather matted, not full like the picture but I'm sure that can be fixed. Very fun!Do not go off the sizing from their chart. Ordered a size large for my 90lb, stocky built, big necked lab/ pit/ boxer mix. Too big by about 1" in the width and about 2" in the height of the head piece. If he moved his head, it would shift. Perhaps would be better for a +100lb dog or someone that is open to tailor / sew. I don't want to put safety pins to adjust it for fear they would open and hurt my four legged buddy. Will be returning for a medium… hopefully it will fit better and not be too tight in the neck, I will write a review for the medium once that is tried on.Update: Purchased the medium and although it looked like it fit, but after about 10 seconds my dog was trying to paw it off. As per my dog,.. he liked the large one better.

This is the best most simple dog costume. 1 piece and it goes on really easy. Only thing that would make this costume better is if there were whole for the ears. My Schnauzer did not like not being able to hear. He is sensitive to sound and he as you can see above in the pic that he had his opinions. I slit two holes behind the fake ears for him. It is a terrific piece. Just brush and go.

Gute Qualität, gerne wieder. Mein Hund hat eine Schulterhöhe von 42 cm und die Mähne war eine ganze Kleinigkeit zu groß da ich aber den Hellen Fell teil nicht so schön, habe ich ihn nach innen gekremppelt (siehe Foto) Danach hatte die Mähne wie angegossen gesessen und ist nicht verrutscht. Mein Hund hat die Mähne nicht einmal beim Spielen mit anderen Hunden gestört, scheint also bequem zu sein.

I paid around $8 for it and still think it was overpriced. I have three dogs and it doesn't fit any of them due to it being helmet shaped instead of just an elastic sleeve. Aside from that, it's very cheaply made and gets fur (which isn't even the colour pictured) all over the place.

This costume is perfect for our Dogue de Bordeaux. He liked it too.
