Very Nice Fresh-Tasting Capers
These are really very good salt-preserved capers. The buds are not tiny, but small enough to be tight, which I think is a better texture than large buds which are generally softer. (Also I’ve found that large capers must soak much longer to bring down saltiness, and a long soak unfortunately soaks out flavor. These I cover with water a second or three and they’re fine.) The flavor is probably the best of the salted capers I’ve bought-quite fresh, a tiny bit floral. I’ll continue to buy this brand, but a bigger jar!

Goodbye, capers in brine!!
This is my first time buying capers in salt. I found myself craving caponata, and while browsing recipes, I learned that capers in brine are not usually used in Italian cuisine. While I don’t really have a frame of reference to go on here, I can say that the flavor is much more intense than any capers in brine I've tasted, and they are delicious! Just make sure to rinse them well. I put them in a small bowl of water and scooped them out with my fingers, because the excess salt can potentially get stuck in a strainer. The caponata turned out perfectly! I will never go back to the capers in brine that are typically sold in America.

Enough to make you caper
This is a repeat order of these capers in sea salt. Before use, you are going to want to rinse them unless you want your mouth to shrivel like a raisin. The capers are expensive but last for months and elevate every brunch at which I serve them. I recently ran out and had to get by with the best capers I could find locally, and I hadn’t stopped feeling sorry for myself till today, when the new bag of these gorgeous imported Italian capers arrived — just in time for a big holiday spread.

Great Product-Great Seller
Most important is that these Capers are fresh, soft, perfectly salted and briny and just simply delicious. The seller is a small business that does things right, with a very personal touch. They deserve a 10 star review and repeat business. Shipping was fast; packing was right. You will not be disappointed!

Great product and great service
For whatever reason, the best capers in the world seem to grow on the little island of Pantelleria, off the coast of Sicily. I discovered them several years ago when a small local business began importing them directly from Italy. They still import them , but I no longer live nearby to shop there. So I was happy to find Gustiamo, another small business devoted to importing the finest foods from Italy. Thank you for that devotion!
