This was the cutest little pink package with the cutest nail products inside. I've never removed my own gel polish before though and it was pretty difficult. I'm not sure if it's this product's fault or it's just hard to remove gel at home no matter what but it took me four reapplications and an hour and a half to finally get it off. I feel like the pads may be too absorbent and not able to get as soaked as a simple cotton ball. The pink nail covers worked fine but I found it almost impossible to lay the pads on myself and very difficult to put the clips on the last three fingers because they are very cumbersome. I finally had to ask my husband to put the last ones on for me because I felt like Edward Scissorhands. I had 100% pure acetone and it was running down my hand as I tried to put the pink clips on, it just didn't work efficiently. Also afterward my nails were extremely dry and damaged looking from all the reapplications and scraping to try to get the gel off because the acetone soak didn't do it's job . The product is really cute but just too difficult to use on yourself. One reviewer said to try one hand at a time... Duh I wish id thought of that, it seems like it really would have taken forever but maybe I could have done a better job wrapping each finger. I will try that and otherwise get my gel removed professionally going forward whenever I can.

This worked so well! Way better than trying to wrap them in foil. You’ll just only be able to do one hand at a time but it’s still quick.
