I run a small 3d printing repair business for desktop grade fdm 3d printers. Many of the cheap printers come with tinned wires terminated directly to the various terminals on the mainboard and power supply.In an effort to make them safer I decided to start Crimping ring terminals onto the ends of the all of the wires meaning that I get a very safe connection. Rather than using a standard hand crump tool I decided to purchase this ratchet style Crimp tool.The tool itself is quite heavy and fees very well constructed. I have used it for a whole month and it has proven to be very reliable. The tool had the ability to crimp a variety of wire gauges.The included kit of Crimp connectors is very useful to get started out with. It comes with various gauge connectors with various sized rings.

Used a fair bit already and I have to say it is a good bit of kit to have. I have used it to lengthen computer power wires and done the car stereo with it so far but there must be a load of other jobs it will get used for in the future.

I have never been able to use these connections properly before. This crimping tool makes all the difference. Place the terminal in the correct Aperture and squeeze the jaws shut, when it gets to the correct point it will release the terminal and the wire is firmly crimped.

Brought for my shed to just stock up on tools. But IV already used alot of them to rewire my bike. They are super handy to have and couldn't of done it without them. Absolutely great buy.

Quelle différence par rapport à mon modèle précédent, qui peu large, avait plus tendance à couper les connecteurs qu'à les sertir!Ici, comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos, la pince est large et couvre parfaitement toute la zone de sertissage.Le cliquet est parfait et permet d'obtenir des sertissages de qualité, qui tiennent parfaitement.La pince est bien entenu équipée d'un petit levier de débrayage permettant de stopper un sertissage ou de débloquer la pince à tout moment.Les poignées offrent une prise en main parfaite et confortable, sans glissement, grace à leur bonne épaisseur et au revêtement moulé.Les connecteurs fournis, (700 pièces quand même!), couvrent la majorité des besoins sont également de qualité plus que correcte et leur gaine thermorétractable permet de bien finir et isoler les connexions.Permet le sertissage des câbles de 0.5 à 1.5mm2 pour les rouges; de 1.5 à 2.5mm2 pour les bleus; et de 4 à 6mm2 pour les jaunes.Les codes couleurs sur la pince évitent toute erreur et facilitent l'utilisation de cet outil indispensable. Je recommande à ceux qui veulent des connexions qui ne bougent plus!
