These are truly the best sponges for your glass cooktop. I have one at home and in a rental that my housekeeper uses and loves them as well. They clean the stove great and don't scratch the surface so will help make your stovetop last longer.

It does do a good job cleaning a smooth surface like a glass cook top, and it even does okay on smooth pans, etc., but I was hoping to replace a regular scrubber with this. It's been really difficult to find replacements for my Scotch and Ocello scrubber wands since this pandemic. I'm thinking they've retooled their equipment to make masks or other things needed for it. I would never get these again for a normal pot scrubber, because they are too stiff (the abrasive side, and there is no hole, so the soap just doesn't come through at all. I don't even care for the hole that much on the other ones, but for this, there is no way to get the soap out without a hole, so I had to make one! And I ended up trimming some on the scrubber surface edges to make it more flexible and to be able to clean dishes with it. It does clean the cook top pretty well, so if that's what you are buying it for, then other than the difficulty getting soap to come though it, it works pretty well.

I have been using the razor scrapers to clean crud off the glass top cooktop then polishing with the special glass cook top polish. I can get a fairly shiny surface. This pad has one big advantage in that it can't cause an actual cut mark in the glass top as can happen with the regular glass top scraper. However it does not remove the built up crust as well as the scraper. I will continue using both and see how that works out.
