This iDsonix says it will read/write an 8t hard drive!It can NOT!!Use it in WRITE mode! It writes files and freezes (Stops Writing) and it corrupts files as well as the hard drive!I used to write data to it and all I could do was reformat the drive! I lost my data!Again this is the 4th iDsonix drive that I own! the others work fine! for smaller drives! This one for 8T can't write any size drive properly! (Read OK Write NO)

Yeah, pretty much the worst thing that could happen. Working on a video edit when oops, your drive has mysteriously been ejected. Won’t connect. Won’t work at all. It’s only been used for 10 hours. New sandisk ssd. Huge bummer

I used this to clone my 1tb Hdd to a 2td SSD. It worked perfectly! No extra software needed.My laptop runs much faster and cooler.

Works as advertised. I’ve used it with many different types and manufacturers of SATA drives. I have no complaints.I am not interested in this product for copying drive to drive.

Great deal for the money. I use an old 500gb sata2 drive from WD and it works great. Had it scavenged from my PC that I was disassembling.
