If you are particular, look no further
I have been painting for 25 years using Purdy brushes for the most part. I always thought they were the best until I tried Corona Excalibur. No need for taping anymore because you can achieve a sharp straight edge with this superb brush without taping, and it's fun. Drop off your paint about a half inch away from the edge you are painting and go back through with the cut in. This keeps too much paint from pooling where you want your straight edge. Of course it will take some practice to gain this skill,....but Corona brushes make it possible to achieve this skill quickly where other inferior brushes do not...especially cheap ones. These brushes are amazing. Keep them clean and they will last forever and keep giving you a straight edge. NEVER let the paint dry up high on the bristles. You need a good wire brush to clean them. Wooster is my favorite. Make sure you start with damp bristles (not dripping) when painting and this will keep your paint from drying on the bristles. I use Ben Moore Aura paint which dried very quickly, so I make it a habit of rinsing my brush at least every 30-45 minutes or so and use a wire brush to clean plus brush spinner. This is called a roller spinner but it spins the water out of brushes too...it's fantastic: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004Z4HL/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 When I am finished painting, I clean the brush, spin it, and place it snugly back in the sleeve that it came in so that it holds it's shape. If you are going to save money by painting yourself, get some Corona brushes! My favorite all purpose size is the Corona 2.5" Excalibur Chinex Paint Brush, but this 1.5 comes in handy sometimes.

Quality Brush!
Still the best quality brush I've used! I had one of these 15 years ago and couldn't find it so I had to buy another one. It's the best I've used for cutting in

Best Paint Brush
I normally don’t write too many reviews but I had to do so for this brush.I do A LOT of painting projects for family and friends and to this point have used Wooster or Purdy brushes from the big box stores. However after stumbling onto a video of a professional using this brush, I decided to give it a try.Now that I have used the brush for the past three days, you can count me as another very happy owner. The comments about the brush being great for cutting in are spot on. This brush is much better than the Woosters that I have been using for years. The comments about it being easy to clean are accurate as well. All it takes is a brush comb warm water and in about two minutes you are done. Much easier than my previous brushes.I just wish I had found out about these sooner!

Excellent trim brush
This brush is the go to for trim and I bought another one. Leaves very minimal brush marks. Highly recommend.

Fantastic brush, great quality, lasts a long time, cleans up unbelievably easily
You can’t go wrong with this brush. Especially for exteriors/hot days or fast drying paints, this brush can take a beating and still clean up like a dream. Cuts a great line, lasts a long time while retaining its stiffness and shape, and cleans up beautifully. Even the most gunked up filaments you can basically clean it out with just hot water, but a wire comb/brush will make it go even faster and easier. Good for solvent based products of course. It’s a little pricy but I think it’s worth every penny, I have a 2 year old excalibur and it still works perfectly good and still retains its shape. My only complaint with this brush is the bristles aren’t shaved flat like a Purdy chinex, the bristles are shaved more rounded. So i’ll probably delegate this one more towards exteriors and my purdy chinex i’ll use for more interior cut in work. Works fine with latex interior paints, but use your latex brush if you want. Can’t go wrong with this brush though.

This is the one.
This brush works great, easy to clean but I still clean it every 30 min like my dad taught me. Holds a good bit of paint with out being droopy or too drippy. Applies paint fairly smoothly. Excited to use this for my volunteer work.

Absolutely amazing
YAS!!This brush washes out so easily! I used this paint brush for the first time today and painted 3 different colors in one day with one brush. Started with black, then green, then a lighter gray.I will never use another paint brand again!

Likely better for oil based paint
My experience with using this brush with Latex paint was less than stellar.
