YKK #10 Coil Long Pull Replacement Sliders -2 / Zippers for Hardtop / Soft top Utility Vehicles

I used these to repair the zippers on the soft top of my Jeep and after a little pulling and tinkering they went on. They are painted black with thick coat of paint and the metal is nice and thick making it really sturdy. Not much to like or dislike in a zipper. Only complaint I have is the pricing as it’s only 2 zippers and there are lots out there selling 50 different zippers for this same price it just seems none of them have a #10 zipper in the pack. Not a big deal though since it’s not much money anyways. If this review was at all helpful click that helpful button it would mean a lot.

My order is supposed to include 2 zipper sliders, and only 1 was delivered. Great heavy-duty quality, but I only received one item.

Excellent zippers! They were bought to replace similar generic zippers on a backpack. The only way to install them was to pry the back open and push them on. It worked well. There no problems doing this. When I pryed the broken zippers apart, they simply broke with very little pressure. What a difference! Now I'm a YKK convert! I may order another set to completely convert my pack over to YKK. These came promptly and I was happy with the shipping.

I use lots of zippers for my projects. And wanted to just buy the sliders because I have lots of coil zipper, but not enough sliders. I prefer to buy 5 yards of coil zipper that comes with 10 sliders. It is a better deal. Also, YKK should offer a better deal on this sliders. I have more than 20 yards of coil zipper that I will discard since I buy the yards only to get more sliders.

I gave this 3 stars because of zipper quality, beware jeep people that have after market replacement tops such as Bestops, Rampage that I know of, this zipper will not work. What you need is a #10 locking zipper no matter if single or double pull, this company got me twice for shipping the wrong zippers, so cheap I didn't return them but it adds up after a while. Vislon Zippers are what your looking for.

Just what I needed to repair my suitcase’s broken zipper pull (damaged by airport security inspectors) following instructions that I found and viewed on YouTube. The suitcase is a Heys 21-inch tall, semi-hard shell, spinner - carry-on sized model. A replacement similarly designed suitcase would have cost me over $100 before tax & shipping.

Easy to use. You would never think that the zipper would be this big, but it works on my American Touristwr luggage. Save a $100 suitcase from the trash!
