I live in a country that is nearly entirely cash based. These receipts work extremely well for household or project expenses. We use a small cash envelope to which we attach the copy at the time that we give out the cash. The person then returns the receipts in the same envelope; and when all is accounted for, we attach the original over the copy to close out the petty cash. The person can also use the back of the envelope to detail the individual expenses and thus keep track of the amount remaining until the monies are depleted. We likewise use Adams Petty Cash forms (# 9672) with this system for any receipts that have to be generated, such as for parking or buying something from a street vendor.

Hubby needed for his group and it worked out wonderful.

Simple easy way to keep track of transactions. Yellow copy is easy to read and it doesn't require additional effor to have a good imprint.

These do what they are meant to do. These are strictly designed for cash RECEIVING not spending tracking. You can use for tracking spending, but they are not designed for that. For SPENDING cash you need to be able to hide previous transactions you recorded so the next person you give money to and ask them to sign the receipt can not see what you paid the previous person. Perforate the yellow copy so it can be folded out of the way would help solve this issue.
