Q: Does the camera work alone or with other third nvr ？

It can work alone and also can work with other third-party nvr which support onvif and resolution equal to or higher than 5mp.

Q: If you are using POE could you cut off the power socket lead?

I installed it a few months ago and can't remember just how the cables come from the camera. I used POE and left the other cables. I think they all come out of the camera anyway and the cut out that you need for the ethernet cable is probably the same with or without the power cable. You also need to have the reset cable (just in case). If you cut the power cable you will have an unsealed end to the power cable which might let moisture in and cause other problems. So overall I do not think that it would be a wise or useful thing to do.

Q: For mounting outside on the side of a concrete wall, do i need an extra mount?, if so, which one would you recommend, please?
