Great for Fudge or Ice Cream
I won't say that allulose is the perfect replacement for other sweeteners like erythritol. As with all of them, it is a unique ingredient with its own properties. It is, however, an incredible choice for candy making. Like sugar, it can reach different points when heated that are associated with different textures. That means brownies made with it can be fudgy in texture, which is just incredible to have on a keto diet. It also made my ice cream stay soft in the freezer similar to a sugar recipe. Be careful not to use the typical no-churn keto recipes, which are basically frozen whipped cream and leave a layer of pasty fat in the mouth. Those recipes are designed around dealing with the lack of sugar for texture when frozen. With allulose, you can use something more like a standard ice cream recipe with an ice cream machine, with the standard fat ratio. The flavor is sweet when used in the right quantity, though not exactly like sugar. Still, I never had a breaking in period with it like with Stevia to let my taste buds adapt. It is really very close. There is no cooling or aftertaste. As far as gastrointestinal issues, your mileage will vary, so start small. If I eat a lot, like a big dessert, I can have a sour stomach the next day and the gas is not frequent, but with a bad smell. I am being honest here to let you know the consequences of your sugar free actions.Price is probably the biggest reason I don't use allulose as my primary sweetener. Hoosier Hill Farm brand seems to be making an effort to bring that price down, which I appreciate. I expect it to come down over time now that people are realizing how superior it is for many recipes. The packaging is very nice, with a working resealable bag that is better than Swerve. It is more like the bags you get things in at a local candy store. If you are all in on this stuff, they also sell it in bulk without the nice bags for significantly less.

Good sugar substitute!
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I have been living KETO for the past 3 years and although I have lessened the quantity of sweets in my life, they still appeal to me at times. I used this product to sweeten whipped cream and it worked very well. It is very powdery and dissolved well in the whipped cream. It is not grainy in recipes like Erythritol and my understanding is that it does not recrystallize like Erythritol tends to do but I haven't used it to actually cook with yet. This will be a major plus in preparing recipes for others because while I don't really mind the texture of Erythritol, most of my family does.As mentioned, it is not as sweet as table sugar and I mixed it with stevia extract https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0017WG1J4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The recipe I used was 16 oz. Allulose and 2 teaspoons of stevia. It worked very well. I could taste a bit of the stevia when I tasted it before adding it to anything but after I added it to my recipe, I couldn't taste the stevia. (I'm sure there are some who will disagree but that' my experience!) I may try reducing the stevia a bit the next time I mix it up.I will purchase this item again from Hoosier Hill in the future as long as I can get it with Prime shipping. It is more expensive that Erythritol but it's well worth the expense if it passes the critique of those I love as it will encourage them to eat healthier foods!

This is a total game-changer!
I looked forever to find another sweetener for my coffee and baked goods without the aftertaste. I finally found it. It's even better than regular sugar and better for your health than sugar!! I absolutely love it. Kinda pricey, but then so is the effects of refined sugar on my health. Plus, I'm Keto and can not eat sugar! The Hoosier Hill Farms brand is half the price of the other Allulose brands, so this is a great choice. This brand differs from the others in its consistency. The grind on this brand is halfway between "powdered" and "granular." It mixes in well with my baked goods and anything I add it to!Pros:Tastes like sugarIt does not trigger insulin in the blood.Keto and diabetic friendlyGreat to use in recipes!Tastes great in coffee and teaNo weird after tasteCheaper than other Allulose brandsThis is a total game-changer.Cons:Expensive compared to table sugar, but sugar isn't good for you anyway... so using this product I feel would turn that negative into a positive!Would I recommend this? Absolutely! Try it!Will I buy if again? Oh yeah!!

Good!
It's not the sweetest product out there, but I add a smidgeon of other product to get that perfect balance. I bought it because I wanted to get off of what I was using for sweeteners. It is way too expensive, but allulose seems to be that way everywhere, unfortunately. It does not make me dizzy as Erythritol does. I feel no lightheadedness at all! The flavor doesn't have that nastyness to it as much as Erythritol does either. But I do have to let it set a bit after I sweeten with it to let the full sweetness kick in. I have diabetes type two. So I needed something that doesn't spike my sugar like Splenda and real sugar does. So I am happy except for the cost, and I would like to see the bag wider to give my more room to get my hand in there and scoop it out. And by the way, a scoop like erythritol has in its bag would be perfect. For now I am stealing the scoop from the erythritol product and using it for this allulose one. So if you have it in your house, save the scoop from the erythritol, or just buy one. It helps me get my preferred measurement right. Like I said I still have to use a smidge of generic Splenda to balance the flavor. But now I use very little of it and not have to spike my sugar to the moon. At first, I had a little extra gas with allulose, but I adjusted and it's not a problem anymore. It's better on my system overall than erythritol was. I hope it does good for you too. Trying to get away from other sweeteners altogether. So many side effects out there. I am hoping the price will come down on Allulose as more start to use it! This is a decent substitute!
