Good quality elbow patches
My fifteen year old heavy Barbour sweater was going thin at the elbows and I wanted to add suede elbow patches to prolong its life (the sweater was an excellent buy). These patches are first rate and just the right size. I chose dark brown for a green sweater. I did not sew them on myself but had this done by a local tailor who did a good job for £15.00. Highly recommended and my sweater will, I'm sure, now last another good few years.

Worth the extra money
The black are this item while the grey on the heel is one of the cheaper listings that come up. I wish I’d just got two of these because they are much higher quality they are thicker so I know they will last longer they are also slightly wider and longer so you get much better coverage and the punched out holes for sewing are a bit closer together too so it’s a tighter edge with less to no gaps on a curved edge so I’m sure they’d look better if you used them for their purpose on elbows. They are a bit stiffer but I presume being leather that they will wear in after awhile but even then they are flexible.I love them and now I can wear my ratty knitted booties round the house for many more years!

Lovely quality and size
Just right for a mans elbow patches on a jumper for which they was used. Very easy to sew as the had the sewing holes already. Would definitely buy again if needed
