Sharp, well made, correct thickness.
I've used this quite a bit recently to cut very hard materials and it seems to be living up to it's promises. Still cutting well, blade is in tact, and the feel of the handle is pretty good. I was also very happy that when I calipered the blade on arrival, it was actually the correct thickness (unlike a lot of Amazon's offerings in tools...) which is important for how I use it.

As advertised! Bigger deal than it sounds.
This thing is amazing it is as advertised ultra thin blade I've been disappointed so many times in the past with the same description and got either saws or exacto blades that were very thin but their teeth were angled and opposite directions one left and right so on and so forth so The cutting edge was much wider than the actual blade you could cut the arm off of a model and try to put it right back where you cut it off from and the model would look ridiculous and deformed. This thing is the real deal ultra thin and the literal sense of the words and the teeth straight up and down so they don't add any extra to the material being removed and let me tell you people this thing is literally PAPER THIN! And super sharp so do take caution remove it from the package properly as you will need it to store when not in use I would not tear it up this thing is dangerously Sharp like sharp enough to cut you just from touching your finger to the teeth. The only drawback this is apparently not single use but I can't think of the word you can't replace the blades though it's made in there from the factory there's no getting it out or putting a new one in don't know how long it'll last though, long enough to justify the $10 purchase though I'm sure. To be honest if it works one time and I'm able to get one particular project done before it's too dull to cut again it's paid for itself that's the only tool to get the job done with without damaging the material beyond use.

Excellent blade
Let me start by saying this blade is designed to be thin, so use it with care. Very sharp and was able to cut through a Warhammer 40k base with no problem. Also has a very nice quality wooden handle

Little saw, big performance
I love the size of the saw. I purchased the saw for one special purpose, and that was to cut cleats for my violins.

Best saw I've found for the price but take precautions to prevent rust!
This is a great little saw! It is sharp and extremely inexpensive. When I first got mine I took it out of the package and put it up on the wall in the garage in Austin Texas. It's pretty humid on some days here so the saw ended up getting rust on the blade! I contacted Amazon and they exchanged it for a new one free of charge. The second one I received I simply rubs machine oil on the blade and there is not a single hint of rust.Straight talk. I do recommend it. I would recommend Rubbing machine oil on the blade as soon as you get it to prevent any chance of rust. I've also read that you could use WD-40 as well. I use WD-40 on my planes and they've never rusted so I don't see why this would be any different

Be careful when ordering.
We purchased this knife to go with x-acto's miter box. Be careful. This is a wonderful tool, but it is NOT THE CORRECT TOOL FOR THE MITER BOX. You need one that has a deeper blade. . . this has a 7/16th inch blade and you need one that is over one inch - I think the 1-3/16-inch would work. This is not specified in the specs. We added a wood block, but will eventually need to get the right knife.

Cuts Brass, Copper & Wood like butter. Just buy it.
Higher TPI wil always be the best way to go, but this little gem goes so far beyond the call of duty. I have made over 10 cuts through brass tube & solid rod stock with this saw and it's still kickin' like a mule. It's very solid compared to most other types of hand-saws.I used to run through a 32tpi hacksaw blade every 2 days. This is going strong after 3 so it's easy to say it's my favorite saw I've owned. Not to mention how easy it is to transport.TO SUM UPJust buy this saw. 52tpi will rip right through brass, copper, hardwood, and pretty much anything else. At the price of 2 decent hacksaw blades it's a no brainer.

Excellent for Miniatures
I'm am miniature painter; mostly 28/32mm up to 75mm and I've been making do a junior hacksaw and small "hobby" say which actually had course teeth. This thing is in a different league altogether! The blade is very think with a nice fine pitch.. ideal for finely cutting resin minis from the risers or perhaps for conversions. I only use this on resin and plastic and it's excellent! This is very sturdy and well made but very light. Depth of cut is 11mm so only for small jobs.Unfortunately there's no blade cover/sheath supplied but I use the cardboard retail packaging (just cut-down a bit)It's a little pricey but you pay for quality. Do it, you won't be disappointed!

Such a slim blade, made cutting walnuts in half a breeze
Everything else was too thick. This really is a super slim, but sturdy little saw. Just perfect
