This is a drug for cockatiels. I've had other brands surprise me with bug infestations, but this brand has always remained clean and reliable. They don't put in weak sprays (twigs) - everything is hearty, so each serving is pretty consistent for the birds. It arrives fresh and there's nothing bad to say here. They do a great job with a great product every time.

This millet was huge and such a nice golden color. I had backed off ordering online after getting some bad batches that were dark brown. I have been skeptical of buying without being able to see it. Unfortunately, there are not the best options in the stores close to me either. So glad I found this brand. I will be buying again and hope the rest of my orders have the same consistent quality, because this is fresh, great, and has my Budgie Mom stamp of approval!

I've had parakeets for many years, so I've bought a lot of millet. This millet is excellent, and it's why I've become a repeat customer. Unlike some millet bought elsewhere, this millet is plump, the sprigs are big, and I've never received an order that was moldy. It's also well packed for shipping. And it's domestically-grown. Does it cost a bit more than I'd like to spend? Yes, but it's dependably high-quality and the box arrives intact. So I think it's good value for the money.

Sure, you're buying in bulk here so you have to expect a large box of put millet all bound up together and in knowing that there will be millet loss (seed at the bottom of the container bag) just as a natural consequence of box movement and millet untanglement by you and you open/use them. BUT you get SO MUCH millet here... the loss is minimal in comparison to the millet GAIN. I'll order again...I separated mine out /cut off the "tails" and store them in freezer ziplock bags...you're welcome for the tip. Save big $$ - ignore the millet loss and SEE the GAIN and money savings. My finches love this millet.

I’ve ordered Birds LOVE Wholesome & Lovely Spray Millet many times in the past, and it used to be a great product. Unfortunately, the last two orders have been very disappointing. The main issue is inconsistent quality within the same bag. The top layer contains the nice, full “wholesome and lovely” sprays you expect — but once you get halfway down, it turns into small, broken pieces and scraps that look nothing like the advertised product. It feels like the good millet is placed on top to look appealing, while the bottom is filled with leftovers. Another problem is packaging. The millet sprays are crammed tightly into the bag, which bends and deforms them. Because of this, many sprays won’t sit properly in my horizontal millet holder without breaking or needing to be trimmed. My bird still like millet, but at this price point I expect consistent quality throughout the bag, not a mix of premium sprays and unusable scraps. Unless packaging and quality control improve, I’ll likely be looking for an alternative. Very disappointing from a product that used to be reliable.
