Reasonable price, works as expected and can’t tell difference from original.

By European based Braun did not work well with an adapted as it is a round two prong not easy to use with adapters not specifically made for its special pring shape. Search Amazon and voila found this so that the whole unit was replaced with a US plug AND base. So instead of throwing out the whole thing, I now have a brand new base and plug and my 8 year + old European brush works perfectly. All for $10 whereas new Brauns are over $100. Now if they could only get the rip-off price of the brush heads down which is scandalous .... [the generic heads on Amazon work OK but aren't exactly the same quality..) But that as they say children is another story.... This solved my immediate issue. And Good for that

Easy to use charger for braun oral B toothbrush. Plug in and use!

Something bad happened in the manufacturing process involving the Oral-B charging stations causing them to fail after a month or two in normal usage.The Oral-B electric toothbrush dates back many years and I've owned one since the beginning when my dentist gave me one. I loved it! The dentist noticed the improvement in controlling placque.It worked for many years until the electric tooth brush finally wore out.The replacement unit, with charging stand from five years ago lasted about three years...until the charging stand quit working. (No more blinking green light.)Every one of the replacement units has failed...at least six, since then.It is time for the manufacturer to fix the problem. Until then, the Oral-B is no longer recommended.

Mysteriously, the original charger base for my Oral-b Electric Toothbrush went missing after the Christmas holiday. Neither of my adult children (who visited my home over the holiday) would admit to accidentally taking it home with them. What could I do? My electric toothbrush was slowly becoming less and less powerful. In a last ditch effort, I got online and found this replacement. Thank goodness I did, because it performs flawlessly. If you need a replacement charger base for your Oral-b Electric Toothbrush, this one comes highly recommended!

I've always been annoyed that the Braun toothbrushes sold in the USA are only 120v. I've had to carry a converter when traveling internationally. In this day and age of cheap chips, being able to have a 220/120v charger should be standard. So, despite the negative reviews, I bought one of these. It works on 120v and charges probably a little BETTER than the original 120v chargers that came with the toothbrushes. It seems to give a BETTER charge to the toothbrushes. The downside to this charger is that it gets a bit hot. The original chargers do get a little warm, but this one gets very warm even on 120v. I haven't had a chance to use it on 220v yet, but it has so far done about 6 charging cycles and still seems to work fine. If it ends up being durable, it is a great find.

It’s a little bit big but I guess it Hass to be to not top over but it’s a great replacement for the original charger base that has the big enclosure for extra brushes this is ideal for traveling as well which is why I got it

I got this to use while traveling in Europe. The charger that came with my OralB toothbrush is inexplicably only good on 120v. I was mystified by that. This solved my problem Only had to charge once on my trip, but that's what I needed. I've got this charge in my travel toiletry bag and use the original at home, but could use this all time if needed. It is dual voltage, which make one wonder why the manufacturer just didn't include a dual voltage charger as the OEM unit. Go figure.
