I needed this to adapt filters onto the slightly 'unusual' 40.5mm thread. I can now use 52mm filters- or larger with step up rings.The finish is very good and the thread screws onto the lens with smoothly with no hint of binding or roughness.

Maybe it was a one off, however it arrived with a bend in it. Note that this item was solid and it would need some severe force to put a bend in it like that. I presume it was a manufacturing defect. I give it one star because it did get delivered to me and was duly returned to Amazon.

Got this to enable the sharing of filters between a couple of lenses and works a treat..

Just what i needed

It's a step up filter. It takes a smaller camera thread, and allows you to use a bigger filter on it.With it being a simple metal ring, there's not a lot that can be said. But the filter goes on and off easily.. what more can you need?
