Salome Fajas Colombianas Shapewear for Women Postparto and Postsurgery Reductoras y Moldeadoras

I recently bought this Colombian faja and overall, I’m really happy with it. The material is strong, high-quality, and it definitely gives that snatched look I was going for. It shapes my waist well and gives great support to my midsection without being too uncomfortable. It also helps with posture, which I didn’t expect but really appreciate! The sizing was a bit tricky, though, definitely read the size chart carefully and maybe go a size up if you’re in between. It was super tight at first, but after a few wears, it started to mold to my body more comfortably. I recommend wearing a tank or something light underneath if you plan to wear it for hours, since it can get a little hot or dig in.

I am 5’9”, size 20/22 with a 52” bust 41” waist and 51” hips - so, a big girl with a big upper belly and big breasts. I came across this faja after watching PinupDollAshleyMarie on YouTube, her video called “Shaping Your Body With Shapewear”. If you’re like me, you’ve tried different shapewear that only kind of worked and ended up being a waste of money which only ever resulted in an unflattering rounded sausage tube shape, rather than enhancing my hips and butt and cinching my waist like I wanted. So I was delighted when Ashley Marie gave a very in-depth review of this specific item, including advice on how to get this thing on. Like a lot of others, I really hesitated spending this much on an item off amazon sight-unseen but decided to trust the results i had seen from Ashley Marie’s video and the other reviewers who insisted that the size chart is correct, and I’m here to tell you that I’m so pleased that I did. This thing seems ungodly when you first look at it - absurdly small - but trust me when I say if you follow the waist and hips measurements for the size chart, then you WILL be able to squeeze your body into this thing. I very much suggest watching Ashley Marie’s video for instructions on how to get this on your body because it is definitely a physical struggle - you WILL sweat lol. If you can’t be bothered to watch her video, her tips are: -don’t lotion or lube before, it’s not necessary -step into it and get it up around your thighs as much as possible -roll up the leg cuffs with the adhesive backing, to make sliding it over your legs much easier -use a scooping motion to get the butt part over your butt, also use lunging motions to get it over your thighs and butt -really engage those muscles to get the front clasps closed -get some help to pull the back up around your shoulders -just watch the video My own experience: This thing is TIGHT. But I LOVE the results. I wore this for a few hours around the house, over the course of a few days, just to get used to it. I was really thrilled to see how cinched my waist looked, from the side AND from the front! I am a little taller, so this definitely required me to loosen the straps as far as they will possibly go. And I will tell you now - if you have a fat cat and/or are over 5’8” you will get some MAJOR cameltoe. I had to sort of pull it down while shoving my fat around lol. There is a crotch opening for restroom usage but it’s too small, don’t even try to use it without making the hole bigger. Just cut it bigger and stitch it up. Leg adhesive backing did a great job and didn’t ride up or budge at all. Wore this to a rave, and it was sweaty city - but that didn’t matter because I felt secure enough to dance all night and felt amazing doing it. Did the straps did into my shoulder? Big time. Is this hot, constricting, uncomfortable, and hard to get in and out of? Oh yeah. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Get this!

Ok so first off I want to say I'm happy with this purchase however there are a few things I want to note if you're considering buying this shape wear item. 1- the sizing is a bit strange. I purchased a XXL based on the measurements provided. I would never have guessed a 2X if I didnt read the sizing measurements. I read reviews some saying buy your "true size" some saying size up 2 sizes. So went with my gut instinct on the size I ordered and sized what I considered 1 size up from a normal top size (XL) Which brings me to the second thing.... 2- I tried it on as soon as I received it and the thigh part was not tight it actually fit comfortably almost like old leggings I've had for awhile (still tight but not like a second skin tight if that makes sense) but the torso was exactly what I had figured. Super tight! Took me about 15min to get it clipped up and zipped. 3- It does feel kind of cheap though. I mean its soft, thick and has good stretch but if I was going to wear this throughout the week I dont see it lasting more than a few months. That being said for the price it's not too bad. 4- the last thing is if you are planning on wearing this with a tight on the butt dress or pants the lines around the butt lifting part do show through. It's not a huge deal but it needed to be noted. That all being said there are some great things about this faja I did like. Once on it felt great. I could wear it for several hours I think without issues. I also liked the fact I can change the shoulder straps if I needed for like black tops if they show. The hole between the legs is a good size as well. I dont see it needing to be taken off to use the restroom on a night out or throughout the day of wearing it. All in all I give it 4 stars and would repurchase again when needed.

Ordered size based off of the sizing chart and my measurements. The torso part of the faja was snug, could have been a little smaller. But the lower half was WAY too big! The thigh area was so lose. Ordered a smaller size and returning this one. Over all, size chart is way off. UPDATE: ordered the other faja style with the longer leg and supposed to have more compression. Once again went off size chart and read reviews, since the 3xl was too big on the other style, I choose a 2xl. I received it and it was difficult to put on the very first time, once again, the legs was way too big! Not on my thighs, but from the knee up a few inches. I’m by far a small person. I am 5’6”, weigh 235 lbs and my measurements are 46 - 40 - 53 without the faja, with the faja I am measuring 46 - 40 - 50. The second and third time I put it on, it takes a couple minutes without any problem. I’m able to take it off and on to use the bathroom, and from what I’ve been told, a faja should take some work to get in and out of. So I’m really not sure if I should size down one or two more sizes. If I originally ordered a 3xl, and this 2xl doesn’t fit, should I go down to a l or xl?? I’m just confused..

𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦! I am 5'5 and weight 190 pounds.𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗫𝗟 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲. I wanted to wear this garment for a wedding ceremony but honestly did not want to work out to lose weight so I though this would be an awesome solution. THIS PRODUCT WORKS. I have owned this garment for 3 months. I have listen the pros and cons below : PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT I PURCHASED A SIZE SMALLER THEN THE RECOMMENDED SIZE SO MY REVIEW IS BASED OFF OF THAT. _____________________________________ ✔𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗞𝗦 - it takes inches off of your waist and make your butt looks larger. Like seriously. - ONE THE FIRST TRY IT TOOK ME 15 MINUTES & 1 PERSON TO HELP ME PUT IT ON, but that's to be expected for a compression garments. I don't take this as a con because once you have it one, it LITERALLY takes inches off of your waist. The more you wear it the easier it is to put it on. After the 3rd time of putting it on, I was able to put it on myself in less than 10 minutes. Now that I have it for 3 months, it takes me less than 5 minutes. - When you wash your garment, it bounces back to it's original state, so you have to stretch it out again. It won't be like the first time you have it on, but it will take a little time for the garment for the garment to get accustomed to your body again. I like that because that means this garment will last long. - It fixes your poster & make your breast poke out more. - It smooths out your stomach gut & make you feel secure underneath a tight fitting dress. - People will think you lost weight! I've have multiple compliments of people thinking I loss weight. _____________________________________ ✔𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦 - The hole to pee was too small, but that's my personal taste. You are screwed if you have to go number 2, just take the whole thing off. _____________________________________ ✔𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 - You cannot eat too much once you have it on. I tend to bloat when I eat, so if I eat to much it feels like I can't breath. But on the plus side it does help me to have portion control, I tend to over eat a lot. - Don't pull on the lace part to much it will rip. Mine did and now the bottom roles up - Although it is not recommended, wear panties underneath the garment. The garment can be uncomfortable against the skin especially in the crochet area ( then again I did get a size smaller so keep that in mind) so I have to wear panties underneath to feel more comfortable. - Wear it multiple times before a a major event. It will give you time to adjust to how it feels when you have it on. - When ordering a size smaller than what is recommend, be aware of the cons that come with it. My garment left some markings on my body ( the strap part) - but then again, I did order a size smaller then what was recommended on the chart. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁. I got this for postpartum. It arrived today and I just put it on. So far, the only reason I give it 4 stars is because I have no idea how i will be able to go to the bathroom! lol It does have a crotch hole, but not only does that mean you have to go commando, but it also means you will probably pee all over yourself, and you can forget about going #2 lol Size-wise...I scoured the reviews and glad I did because if I had gone by the height and weight size on the chart (I'm 5'4'' 134 pounds), I would've ended up with a Small and that would have never ever fit! I went by my waist and hips measurements: waist 34 and hips 38. That means that one measurement put me at a Small, and the other put me at a Medium. Per the reviews, I sized up, which was key. Even with a Medium, it was not totally easy to get this thing on, but I expected that given the purpose of a compression faja. I thought the butt outlines would bother me because they I thought they would make my butt look fake, but they didn't at all! Basically, if you don't have much back there, like me, it will make it look naturally perky but it won't add anything fake-looking, which I loved. Tip for putting it on: lay on your back and do one hook at a time starting from the bottom. After one hook, zip up the zipper; do another hook, zip it up a little more; next hook, zip, and repeat. This helped me a ton. In conclusion, this thing is tight as hell, the material is really good quality, and I think it will do it's job. My only complaint will be the bathroom issue, but I think you'll run into that same issue with any full-body faja. UPDATE: Just by the 3rd time of using it, it's significantly easier to put on than the 1st and 2nd time. So don't give up! UPDATE 2: I've now been using it for a month and it is fantastic! Getting on and off is no problem, even for going to the bathroom (I don't even use the little hole, I just take the whole thing off cause it's that easy now!). I did put different straps on it though cause the ones it came with dug into my shoulders too much. Love it and will probably get one in black soon. Changing from 4 to 5 stars now that going to the bathroom is a nonissue.

Alright so, I have two reviews, a good one and a bad one. I first got the nude one and I must say this is the best faja I’ve tried so far! Love it I recently had a bbl and it is just what I was looking for! Unfortunately or fortunately, I am getting smaller as the days go by wich is normal cause the inflammation is going away so I decided to order a size small, medium is starting to feel big. The small one came in black since there are no small nude sizes. And to my surprise the nude and the black are two totally different fajas!!! The black one has like a double fabric in the butt area which of course I do not need cause Pressure there still causes pain! Second, the crotch area is open unlike the nude one, that has extra fabric over the open slot. Third, size small ok this one is super super tight I can barely move or breath Fourth, this fabric is different! It is stiff and rough. This faja sucks compared to the first one I got! Why are you selling different type of fajas on the same advertisement??

Love this product as a post pregnancy shaper. I'm usually a small/medium and I ordered this in a Large. So it runs small, but not so small that you would have to go multiple sizes up! The idea - at least in my mind - is that you're going to get smaller as you wear this so you should be getting something that fits very tight that will get looser as you wear it. This smoothed out my stomach within days of wearing it for hours at a time. It fits smoothly under jeans, and is not noticeable under textured dresses. I wouldn't wear this under something with a thin fabric but other than that it's great! This product does have a crotch opening. I was able to use the bathroom with it still on. It took a little work but it's possible if you're not in a rush! If you've been wearing it for a while and it's not super tight you can get it on and off for bathroom time which is what I prefer now. One thing to note is that the straps are VERY short. Like I don't know who's shoulders in the world are that small. So I just used some bra straps from VS and called it a day, they transitioned easily. Sometimes I don't even wear any straps and just tuck it into my bra and it still holds everything in fine. I need to buy this in the next size down, but I think I might try one without the shorts as my thighs shrank quite a bit!
