I've been using this door strike with a deadlatch & Isonas card reader for several months. It works very reliably, so overall I'm quite happy with it. I never got it to line up properly to engage the deadlatch but for my application it didn't matter. There's enough play in the mechanism that lining it up just right would be tricky, so be prepared to fiddle with its placement before screwing it into the frame.
