Q: What size hole needs to be cut?

A little over 4” perhaps 4 1/4” I used a 4” hole saw that I already owned and enlarged it a bit with a rasp. Bob

No need to access the back of the wall. Just cut and push it in. Very easy. Much easier than our last version. Go for it!
