Joansam Womens Faux Leather Waist Trainer Corset/Bustiers for Weight Loss

I am about 5'7", 140 pounds, 35" bust, 29" waist. Based on the sizing chart, a medium or large would fit me. I don't mind having some laces showing and after reading reviews, I ordered a medium of the black faux leather corset (hooks, not zipper, up the front). The fabric is relatively nice and I think the quality is quite good considering how cheap it is. I planned to wear it to a themed party and potentially for Halloween costumes, so the it seems good quality for my uses. The fabric is soft and stretchy. With the laces completely closed (no gap) and without stretching (which the fabric will do when you put it on), the waist of the laid out corset is 28". When I tried the corset on, I laced the back as tight as I could, and it felt like I had wiggle room the whole length of it. Considering it is a corset, I would like it to fit quite snugly, and I would hope that it would squeeze enough so my boobs feel in place.Since the overall quality and price were to my liking as well as the soft, somewhat stretchy fabric being comfortable for wearing this not as a serious (old-fashioned level) corset, I hoped to simply buy a small. However, the item now says it is only available through other sellers, which are more expensive and do not have the option of free returns. I will say that if I was looking for something a little more modest and not tight-fitting, I would have liked this. But laced as tight as possible and still loose just isn't how any corset should fit. I am returning this piece.

This corset was PERFECT for my Ursula costume! I sewed some tentacles for my costume out of this kind of shiny material, so I needed a top to match (and I had no idea how to sew the kind of structure I was looking for in a bodice). I ordered this on a whim at the last minute out of necessity and I am so happy with my purchase! It looks terrific with my costume and feels very well made! I am 4 feet 11 inches tall and about 115ish pounds. I wear a 32D in bras, and I ordered a medium! It fit perfectly! It was a little busty on me so I wore a tank under it, but it can definitely be used for a sexier look if that's what you are doing for! I plan to use it for other costumes in the future and would definitely buy again. Hope this helps you make a decision! BTW, I payed full price for this, and would pay full price again!

It's great for the price, and wel made.The discription said it runs small so I bought a large. It was way too big, I wish I had purchased a smaller size. I'm a 36 B. I'm a seamstress so took it in several inches. I got it to fit my waist, but it was still go big in the bosom.I think this would work much better for someone with bigger breasts. It doesn't offer much push up.It's well made and a nice design. I just don't have the body for it.

I am usually a Large... i bought an xl and a L just incase.. my tata are 36D and 30 waist, so the Large fit the tummy nice but the xl fit the tata well.. i ended up wearing the L in the pix, keeped pulling corset all night only because of the sheer slippery bodysuit i wore under neath.. quality is great.. just make sure when u wear slip it on and do not hook yourself in..

I bought the one with the hooks even though other reviewer’s said that it was hard to stay hooked. It is very challenging to hook up all the clasps by yourself. I wish I had ordered the one with the zipper instead - but it is comfortable and it’s made well I just wish it had more of a support system/push up bra in the bust area.

This is an excellent product, and my second time purchasing one (I owned the previous corset for six years and wore it several times a year for costumes and the occasional evening out before it required replacement). The material does give and stretch a bit, so I would recommend sizing down. My sizing is 36B, 24" waist, 40" hip; I originally ordered a medium and exchanged it for a small. If there had been an extra-small available, that would have been my choice so I could size it down to conform to my waist. The small gives a nice clean shape but is too large to size down to my waist. As a costume-only piece over and under other layers, it is very acceptable.

I bought this for a Halloween costume and carefully reviewed the sizing chart before purchasing. It's way off - this is too big, which is a shame, because the next size smaller is way more expensive, so it's not worth exchanging. If you're trying to build a costume, this is great. The texture looks plasticy/leathery (great for a superhero). There's absolutely no support for the ladies, and it only tightens a little. This isn't what you typically think of as a corset - more like it looks like one.

This was very cute, unfortunately the sizes are not exact by your normal size, also the buttons in the front are not practical they come loose or undone. I thought it was cute, but returned it and will purchase another either with ties on both sides, a zipper, or where it ties in the back only. Arrived quickly and refund was issued very fast, will reorder another abd I'm sure the review will be 5 stars
