I bought this for my bff as we count down the time to her 50th b-day trip we will be taking to Hawaii. I am giving it to her already set, so she will understand the purpose as soon as she sees it. Like I said, this is a gift, so it will be in a box/bag and then she will take is out and look at it. The problem with this timer is that you can VERY easily touch buttons on the front and mess up the timer. You don't even really have to push them, just barely touching them stops the timer. This would be ok if you bought it for yourself, set it, then sat it somewhere and never touched it again, but in my case, as soon as she opens it, I will have to be saying "Be careful! Don't touch the buttons or we'll have to reset it!" Not really what you want to be doing when someone is opening a present. I realized this after i received it. Several of the other timers that are made just like this one, have actual buttons you have to manually press and they are on the back. That is really what I should have purchased. This on is too easy to mess up the timer.I wouldn't buy this one again.

Size is misrepresented. I set countdown then tried to adjust.. would not allow changes. This product was not a real representation of product you receive. So disappointed.

This is so small that you can barely see the item let alone the numbers! This is so disappointing definitely for the price. This was for a gift and I don’t even think this will work. So pissed.

This is perfect for me I am using it as a count up timer marking the beginning of a very important event in my life. The batteries are two CR2032 batteries which are about the size of a u.s. dime. There are six small screws you have to take off the back of the unit and the batteries are very easy to access, just push them a little with the tip of a pen. The batteries of this unit are totally replaceable. This is a quality item, built very well inside and out.

Tiny, hard to read, hard to set. The worst part is that this is meant to be thrown away after 6 months - that’s when the battery expires and there’s no way to replace it.

For the price I expected better. I ordered three. First I was shocked how small they were. Then one of them didn’t work at first. When we did get it to work it froze three days later. Far to finicky for the price. I should have returned.

Clock is a pain to set and easy to unset and it resets every so often.During my 32 day countdown I had it show all zeros twice.
