These bowls work well. I needed bowls that would stack well in my cupboards and they don't take up very much room at all. We've dropped them a lot....like way too much and they don't break. Melamine is not microwave safe so don't use them in the microwave. I knew that before I bought them and decided to try them anyways. I use other dishes if I have to microwave and it's just fine. They're kind of small for some things, but I still like them enough to use them a hundred times a day.

I wanted to replace our softer plastic snack-sized bowls that don’t ever dry fully in the dishwasher with a melamine type plastic. These bowls definitely meet the mark. They are smaller than a standard cereal bowl (see photo for comparison to the standard IKEA 365 cereal/soup bowl) and that is exactly what I was looking for. They are very sturdy unlike most melamine that tends to crack easier. They are exactly as described.

Bowls are good for typical portion sizes of ice cream, pudding, fresh fruit, etc. which is why I purchased them. I would never use melamine for hot foods or put the bowls in a microwave because melamine could migrate into the food at high temperatures. According to the FDA "melamine dishware is safe to contain food and drinks as long as the following rules are observed: Do not use in ovens. Do not use in microwaves. Do not use in conditions or with food over 160° F."

Nice and sturdy. Perfect size. Great buy!

Bowls are okay. Had to wash them before use due to residue that looked like fiber glass shavings?

Perfect size for our popcorn machine and they clean up really well!

Great little bowls, we bought them for our church, to use for kids snacks and for our strawberry social Sunday's, to avoid purchasing disposable dishes. They are great, a perfect size and wash up great in our dishwasher.
