100% Satisfied
This is my first Dobro and Iām very pleased with it. Great bang for your buck and good beginner level instrument. It has great tone straight out of the box. No issues with packaging and the only issue with the guitar was that the sound hole screen rings had came off and were loose inside the box. Manufacturer did not glue them well, but I had planned on removing the screens anyway. I just glued the rings back without the screens. I noticed the price is now $481. I got the last one in stock for $361. Not sure why price increased that much. I would definitely recommend buying to someone else.

Great Guitar
The Regal is a great starter guitar.. I ordered one on Amazon but had to buy locally because it got lost in shipping. Amazon finally got an English speaking agent who helped me. Thank you Amazon.

This came ups and I was thrilled to get my first resonator. This thing buzzed so badly it can't be played. How any one would let this leave the shop is beyond me. COMPLETE GARBAGE> I am so let down. Now I will have so much fun re packing it and going through the hassle of shipping etc...The cardboard box it arrived in was flimsy at best and looked crinkled. Maybe UPS tweaked this guitar so bad it rattled something loose inside it.. Who knows!! Thogh I wanna try another Regal , I am skeptical. Any insight??

Slightly Damaged
Product arrived damaged. Glued in metal pieces fell off guitar. Packaging was not marked fragile so maybe it got rough treatment by ups. Disappointed but probably fixable. I'm going to let it warm up to room temperature before checking for additional damage. Fingers crossed. Update to follow.

didn't go the distance
I bought a Regal, like this from Elderly, actually a RD-35, but beautiful mahogany, sounded OK too and I played it for a few years. One morning woke up and found it folded, as in neck set broken, top caved in. I only used standard strings for this, no temperature or weather extremes, never in a hot car, etc.I just cannot in any way recommend a dobro from this company. There can be problems, OK, but it just has to at least hold together, right? You can put a fancy cone on it, but it a dobro needs a neck.
