Eva Franco Women's Rebel Dress

Bought this hoping it would be a perfect summer-to-fall transition dress. The colors are lovely; richer and a bit darker than in the photo. The fabric is a stretchy weave that conforms beautifully in the bodice and the ruching emphasizes the waist.However, the fit-and-flare skirt carries quite a volume of fabric within its inverted pleats. In my opinion, the length is too short to carry off the flare -- I'm 5'7 hourglass size 8 and the hem hit a good 4 inches above the knee. The result is a little too hippy. I do note this "skater style" is very much the fashion now, but not everyone with curves can carry it off.

I usually wear a size 9 or 10, ordered this in a 10 and it fits well. Length is just above knee on at 5'6" woman. Very nice quality, elegant and contemporary without being too stuffy. The fabric is a somewhat broad weave, which keeps it from being too dressy - I got it for my niece's summer wedding, but it would do a night out, or even the office with a cardigan or jacket. As another reviewer suggested, it is a little short waisted, fine on me but if you have a long torso, this might not be the dress for you. The colours are even nicer in person, very rich. A beautiful dress and so ME...I really thought this would work, despite some of the negative reviews. I absolutely love the print, colors, and the fabric, which has an unusual texture. However, the waist is strangely high and "bunch-y" and made me look absolutely enormous, despite this cut being one that is typically very flattering on me. It went back in the box 5 minutes after I opened it.

This dress looks very pretty on the model and the material was really nice but the fit was so bad I could hardly believe it could have such a high original price (it was on sale when I ordered it). It was awful.

This dress moves and looks fantastic. The colors are vibrant and there is all sorts of creatures and plants in the design but you can't actually tell unless you look close otherwise it's just an overall great design with fantastic color. It has the benefit of being unique as well. The one thing I would warn about, which in my case was a blessed benefit, is that this dress feels more like a petite instead of a regular size. It is made for people with shorter torsos, and people who are more of a regular size may find that the dress is a little to high-waisted for them. In my case it fit perfectly, and one of my favorite dresses.

This is a great fun dress. I brought it on a whim, and wasn't sure if it was something I would get a lot of wear out of. I was the. The colours are great, the fit and design are very flattering and, most importantly, the length was great! I wore this to work on casual Friday and got a lot of compliments and felt totally comfortable. Great for transition for day to night. Would recommend!
