Mounted and held a mini thermal imager.
This is a fantastic and sturdy scope ring. It is high profile, like, super high profile. I’ve got a 50mm objective lens scope mounted on a rifle with high profile rings and these are a little higher. But if you’re looking for clearance, these are your babies. They’re perfect for me.I needed a really high ring to mount a 45 degree offset thermal imager (Torrey Pines T20). Because I wanted the imager to match the plane of the rifle, instead of contorted into some weird angled position because it needed clearance, I needed the extra height for corner clearance. See attached image.I was initially nervous trusting such an expensive piece of equipment to such a high stand off skeletonized (iron sight see-through capable) scope ring, I was worried it might not be strong enough. But after feeling it and mounting it, I think if I ran it over with my car, the upper receiver would give before the ring and mount did. Very solid. The only negative mark I have, and it’s minor, is the quick release clamps are definitely designed to work in tandem for stabilization. Using only one ring like I did, on a “heavy” thermal unit, the lever lock didn’t latch the unit as tight as I would like entirely by itself to be able to hold zero at 100 yards. I used the included Allen wrench to crank on the adjustment screw to lock it in place. This would likely only be a problem for people like me attaching a heavy and cumbersome offset unit with only one ring, and it was easily overcome by simply using the Allen wrench to add a little crank to the lever.Side note. While I bought this specifically just to mount the thermal, the other ring (they came in a set of two) perfectly fit my stream light tactical light body. So I got a quick detach rail mount for my flashlight as a “bonus”. :)

Good value , clean lines and crisp QD
I 'm a hunter and a shooter ,and I've mounted my own scopes for many years .Now I mount scopes for my friends and family as well. i'm not a gunsmith and I never charge , but I am an engineer, and have an advanced case of" do it rightitis" . After seeing a lot of sloppy work , IE. misalignment, rings over tightened , or tightened unevenly, scopes mounted so low they actually touched the barrel, scopes mounted so far off level cant is built in ETC. The worst case I saw was when my cousin Vinny ( yes I actually have a Cousin Vinny ) , came right from the range, in a FURY, he could not get his brand new 9mm carbine to group, even at 50 yds. ,he asked me to" just take a look." With the very fine piece, from a great American maker, in the gun vice , the problem became obvious , by hand ,the scope could not only be rotated but could actually be slid back and forth. Vinny had bought the scope and carbine together , and PAID ,to have the scope PROFESSIONALLY MOUNTED , the rings were cheap aluminum ,and the base was loose. All this is going somewhere . I used to be a base and ring snob, using only the top names Leupold , Redfield Warne etc because the quality was there, and still is, but there was a lot of cheap bogus ,crapola out there too. All things change. CNC technology allows precision work, and high quality at more reasonable prices . I buy likely looking rings and bases on Amazon now. I test them for fit and function rigorously , these rings passed every test , mounted a 50mm scope ,not a big brand name, but respectable, from Amazon, on a 300 Win Mag sighted it in with several brands and loads to see what it shot best,I range test with a cold bore, and clean it in between every load change Scope and rings came through just fine . My shoulder ,not so much. Trust but verify . PS the big test for QD rings is repeatability , after the firearm is shot in, pull the QD levers out and set them to the same angle , take a reference picture, remove the scope, reinstall the scope, check the QD levers against the reference picture, ,and shoot again using the exact same ammo. IF you shoot the same Zero, within acceptable parameters , you have a winner, this combination was a winner.

Great Company product
This set of inexpensive, but very sturdy scope mounts was a great buy, but just didn't work out for my rifle. I really liked the look and feel of the product. When I informed the Mizugiwa folks through Amazon.com, they immediately granted me a refund. I really wish the mounts had worked. But the customer service was great. Thak you.

Gotta love the quick release.
I bought a Sniper brand scope and it had the one piece, off set mount and no quick release. I prefer rings cuz I can move them around wherever I feel I need them and the quick release is great. Surprisingly for the price, the rings didn't have the sticky tape inside of them like most inexpensive ones you always find and they don't need them. Good product.

Too High
If you need a really high set of rings these are them. Quality is decent, price is great, but these should be listed as extra high. had to return them.

These do NOT fit 1in scope tubes !!!!
These are advertised to fit 1in tubes, they do NOT.i tried them on 2 different manufacturers of scopes ( both with 1in tubes ) .the rings are too big.I ordered a second set thinking maby it was mixed stock, same thing.I ordered these once before and they worked great.tried to contact customer service to make them aware of the situation, and ran into a serious language barrier ! .
