Chrome Mid-Frame Air Deflector Trim for Harley Davidson Touring Street Electra Glide Road King 2009-2016 2015 2014

I see where others said these were easy to install. I disagree. But it isn't the fault of this product or the seller. It is the design that was done by Harley Davidson. I have a Tri Glide and the two bolts that hold each of these on are incredibly difficult to get at. The top bolt, closest to the seat on the left side, is fairly easy and can be reached with a socket wrench. The lower one is positioned so you have to use an open ended wrench and it takes quite a bit of small turns to get it off and on. The right side is different as the top bolt required me to cut a small path in the plastic to slide the heat shield in once the bolt was started. The top is almost totally hidden and you have to put the bolt in by feel and it is such an odd angle that it was easier for me to start the bolt then slide the shield in with the cutaway and then tighten the bolt. The bottom bolt was very easy to access with a socket wrench.This looks good but it is plastic and not quite as durable as the OEM shield which is also plastic but thicker and appears to be more sturdy. This was a good price and I am hoping it holds up a long time.

As several have mentioned, they are not a 10 minute install. Installation would be significantly easier if the speed nuts for the top bolts and special hex nuts for the bottom two holes were included as they are on other models from this mfg. (See HD instructions for part # 58002-09A). Overall, the fit and finish was great and once installed they look just as good as OEM for one fourth the price. Given they are molded ABS and not critical to performance or safety I can't see any reason to give HD $100. I haven't been able to test ride them yet, but expect them to perform well.

Went to install, got the right side on with no issues. But can't install the left side because I have true duals and the exhaust pipe blocks the ability to install it on this side....still running it with one, and it helps at least on the right side....

Came with the hardware, though a couple extra washers would be good, inside the frame area as the holes it mounts to are a little bigger than the the bolts so the nuts kind of dig in. Works fine with my backrest adjuster. Finish looks great

Works as advertised and perfect fit. Install was a challenge but you just need to be creative getting the bolts thru. It took me about an hour to install.

The product is good enough at $20. My clutch side cover has a little defect. But honestly I can't complain for the price. As always, these were a bitch to install.

These are replacements for the black ones I had on my bike, little disappointed these game scratched. But for the price I wasn’t gonna argue. The more chrome the better your bike looks!

For the money you can't beat this buy, I had minimal problems installing these. I'd reccomend this product as I don't reccomend many.
