Works how it should.
We had taken our boat out the week before and hit something under the water. Took out the prop and a chunk out of the keel. After some research I found this part. It showed up the day we were heading out to go camping on the lake for a week. I installed it in 5 minutes. It looks fantastic gives the motor a sporty look, it I also know that a little branch is not going to break off the aluminum keel now. 10 out of 10 recommend. I installed it on a 2016 Mercury EFI150. It needed some tapping to get into the correct spot. The worst part was drilling a hole in the motor (Keel) but went fine.

I nicked up my skeg on Rainy Lake in July but not bad enough for a professional repair. I repaired the minor issues with JB Weld and repainted the skeg area.I installed the SkegPro and really like the looks and it completely covered the skeg edge where the damage is. Installation is simply.I should have put one of these on when I first bought the boat in 2017.

Good solution for Outboard.
I actually like this. At first it went on my 225hp a little crooked because the skeg was slightly bent. But it's so sturdy, it actually bent the skeg into position over time.
