A must for PS4 players on a budget.
I bought these out of necessity because I left the dongle for my Pulse Elite headphones at a hotel I stayed at. I could have easily paid $30 to have it replaced, but I honestly didn't want to spend that much right now since the headphones actually still work and aren't broke. That being said I love this headset. I bought these for my PS4 along with an adapter to go from two 3.5mm plugs to one. Simple and effective. Honestly I think this headset is much more comfortable than the Pulse elite that I had and I only paid $21 combined for the headset and adapter. They do feel like they are made with cheap plastic but I expected that for $14. They still feel solid though and I don't think they will have any trouble holding up to the use I will put them through. The cable is braided and durable and the padding at the top of the head is very comfortable along with the ear padding. The cord is quite long so playing them on the PS4 may get annoying but I just left them tied in the bundle and the distance works fine. The on off switch for the microphone works, I know this because I forgot I turned it off one day and was pissed no one could hear me. I like that the microphone can be moved up and into the left earpiece, it fits seem less and looks like there is no microphone. The sound is very good for what I expected out of $14. I do wish it would get a little louder but honestly it's probably better they don't. Overall these headphones are well worth the money and PS4 players don't be afraid, these work perfectly with the adapter.

I expected more from this headset quite honestly. I have found very cheap items like this for gaming that have worked out wonderfully for me. However, this one let me down a bit. Now, I went from the Turtle Beach X12's to this so that is probably why I feel let down, but for the price I'm not too surprised. All in all, if you have no experience with headsets at all, and you are tight on money, this is a decent choice. If you have had turtle beach headsets or something similar, this is a noticeable downgrade that I personally couldn't get over. If you have a little more money, you will get what you pay for and this applies, so just spend the extra money and get turtle beaches or something similar. Also, for those who dont read the whole product description, this is ONLY for PC, this will NOT work for any console.Pros:Sound quality was goodMy brother and my friends said they could hear me clearer than when I was on my turtle beachesNice lookDoesn't require a usb, just the 2 jacksCons:I can't hear myself talk, like you can on the X12sEven though people could hear me clearer, I had a slight echo to them as well (Possibly just a settings issue)Can only wear the headset for an hour or 2 before it starts to hurt my ears

Great while they last (which is NOT long)
I decided to give these a try since they were cheap, despite the criticism they've received. For the first couple weeks they were absolutely great, especially considering the price. Soon though the sound in the left ear began to cut in and out depending on if the the wire was bent in a certain way. The problem got worse until it hit the point where the sound would work if the cord was in a very, very specific position. Now the left ear is totally dead, and the sound has begun to start cutting in and out in the right ear as well. I'm not an expert by any means, but my guess would be the wires inside the cord are breaking, which is why it only works when it's in a certain position that puts the severed wires back in contact with each other.Regardless of the cause though, it seems apparent this is a trend with these headsets. While they initially were wonderful, in just a few weeks they've become useless. I'd recommend anybody considering these headsets look elsewhere. While the price may be tempting, it will not be worth it if you need to replace them within just a few weeks.

The absolute, without a doubt, amazingly Okay headphones on the market.... Trash mic though.
The headset is very comfortable and the wires are obviously very nice and durable. However, the "omni-directional mic" pics up more of what is going on around you than what you are saying, so this mic is MARVELOUS if you are an avid fan of listening to snowstorms, wind tunnels, and ambient buzzing, but if you want to record your voice, good luck for you WILL need it. When it comes to listening, the headset is okay, but still a bit quiet for my tastes. I had to have it on full volume before it actually got to my liking. But I still cannot stress enough how bad the mic is. It's positioned away from your face, the holes that allow it to receive audio through the plastic are all facing away from you, and you can't hear a single thing you're saying unless you are yelling it out, and even then, the ambient buzzing is FAR LOUDER than your actual voice. If you just want to listen, buy a more affordable headset without a mic for less money. If you need the mic, don't waste your time.I guess for $15 you are getting what you paid for, but to me as a gamer, live-streamer, and a youtuber, the mic straight up is sub par.In case you don't believe me, here are two audio samples of me talking.Speaking into the mic from an outside perspective:http://vocaroo.com/i/s1VjPUUg5c0GSpeaking into the mic while wearing the headset:http://vocaroo.com/i/s05k4Lg3C0n7"audio sample #, with me wearing/not wearing the headset at max recording volume"
