This is a perfectly fine replacement for the right compressor.Make sure you get the right model for your _specific_ refrigerator.All the connections on this device fit my refrigerator, but it was not the right version for my refrigerator.It worked, but we could smell burning electronics - as if it was being overloaded.We replaced it with a newer version (grey) after a few days, and the replacement has worked fine.

Easy fix for my fridge. 2min plug n play replacement. I actually tossed the white connector base and only needed the capacitor. Bought an extra for down the road. Seems to go out every 5yrs.

Product was simple to install and worked excellent for 2 months. Unfortunately, the return window had passed. I checked the listing for warranty information and there was nothing. The one link that was available for customer service lead to a blank page. So basically if it fails after the 30-day return period you are out of luck. Considering the price of this product and others like it that are offered by Chinese sellers it could be wise to buy 2. One to install and another as a backup when the first one fails.

This component (relay and capacitor) exactly fits and functions like the part which failed due to an electrical surge. Interesting, because the local appliance parts store listed replacements for over $100, and still had to wait four days to deliver. Amazon to the rescue - $15.99, including the 2-day delivery rate!
