Fisher-Price has a real Thomas fan --- my grandson. These are rugged, durable trains and the "Trackmaster" addition is a true enhancement. The drive wheels of the locomotive are like gears that engage into the toothed "Trackmaster" track, which is designed to interconnect with the original track. And it really works. I, too, am a fan.

It's okay, i bought it as new one, it came packed as new one, when i opened it to put batteries inside, there where old batteries inside that didn't work!

My grandson loves his Thomas The Train Porter, he plays with it for hours on his different tracks.

Ordered on Oct. 29 for a Christmas present so was not opened until dec. 24th. Wanted it to be up and running around the tree on Christmas Day. Set up the track, loaded the battery and train ran for about 3 minutes and quit. Replaced battery with new one and train refused to run. Very, very disappointed and since I ordered it so early it is now ineligible for return. Thinking of reordering since I have all the track but I would like to hear from others if they had similiar problems.

Grandson loves Porter. I was looking for the older style TrackMaster Thomas and Friends engines. The newer style works with the newer track but on the older light, gray track, this style works best.

This was a gift that was sent toy grandson. He loves it but I have no other details
