Sort of flimsy, but 8 yr old loves it.
Repeat buyer. Dog chewed first one and 8 yr old missed it.

a big hit with my five year old grandson
This is a sturdy and clever toy that actually is a well-designed stegosaurus model.

Great wingspan
Good toy. Decently well made. Think it'll hold up well against lots of play.Transformation is a bit odd with no actual chest piece in robot mode. Using the eagle head and robot arms the appearance of a chest is created but nothing secures together.

Broke immediately
The plastic on one of the fins immediately cracked upon the first use. Very low quality product. Save yourself the money. We bought a replacement (the bigger Dolphin) and it immediately broke again.

Cute, but not easy.
It took my four year old grandson and two adult men quite awhile to figure out how to open the shark into a transformer. But, now he's happy with it.

Absolutely Horrendous, I'll Take Ten
Forest & Twelfth have really found a pattern they like, seeing as every one of their transforming animals uses basically the same transformation with minor changes to how various parts are hidden. This results in a number of hilariously flawed robots with questionable design choices, but frankly I don't much care about that. These bots are full of character, and their animal forms have a far more animalistic shape than a good chunk of the classic Beast Wars models managed. It's debatable whether they're really worth an average of $15, but when you take into consideration that Hasbro's offerings in a similar size category run upwards of $25 the disparity seems fair. Definitely looking forward to expanding my collection of "deformers," if only because just trying to make them stand up and look presentable is comedically difficult.

One of my grandson's favorite toys
My grandson is into transformers and when he saw the animal transformer, he asked me to get the dolphin. As soon as he got the toy, he would not want to leave it at home if we went out to run errands and it became his buddy to sleep with. Durable and easy to transform. I recommend this toy. Please make sure your child is passed the age of putting things in the mouth. Small parts on dolphin may come off and can be a choking hazard.
