I am so impressed with the Carhartt Firm Duck Insulated Dog Chore Coat! The army green/brass color is stylish and rugged, just like the Carhartt brand. The coat fits my medium-sized dog perfectly, offering a comfortable and snug fit without being too tight. The insulated lining keeps my dog warm during chilly walks, and the durable duck fabric stands up to all kinds of outdoor activities. The quality is top-notch, just like their human gear. I got the small size for my Jack Russell Terrier. It fits him really well and he looks really good in it. Very easy to put on and take off. Stays in place (my lil guy has been running through bushes with it), quality is really really solid.It is a Chore coat, quilted on the inside. Warm enough by itself for fall, but as the temperature drops, I will have to pair it with some warm fleece on the inside. Have not tested it in a lot of rain, but it is decently water resistant, just like any other waxed cotton jacket.The material is the same as what we would expect in a men's chore coat. The buttons are riveted and are really solid (not flimsy). The stitching is on point and really good. The Velcro is solid and adjustable with plenty of room to accommodate a layer or two of fleece underneath. Absolutely worth buying.

I have a Carhart jacket and now so do both my dogs. Make sure you measure them. Jackets fit exactly to the size chart. Velcro straps are quality. Pockets for snacks and poo bags. Pockets won't fit a water bottle unless maybe you get a large size. I have a small and medium. You can use with a collar or put a harness over the coat. My dogs stay warm . Worth the money. Quality stitching and materials.

Really good quality. Fits nice and looks great. I do wish that it had a mid-back slot for a leash to go through on a harness.I’m sure it’s built for dogs that can go hunt or run around the farm, but my city dog wants to pretend to be outdoorsy just like all the finance bros that wear Patagonia

Bought a size large and it’s perfect. Not too tight, not too large. The adjustable neck strap is awesome, we were afraid it wouldn’t fit him, as he is a thick necked, wide shouldered pup, but absolutely no issues. Very nice durable material, not too heavy, but will definitely help him retain heat in the brutal Midwest winters.We moved from Florida to Iowa this past January and quickly learned our dog hated any type of clothing! Funny enough, he didn’t even try to nip the coat when we first pulled it out, wish it was that easy back in January when he destroyed 3 puppy hoodies within minutes! Oh well, at least we have this awesome and stylish carhartt now! Bonus points - he gets to match with me on most days!

Well made garment. Should last a lifetime

It is heavy duty and durable coat best one on the market I believe and I have bought my share of coats formy dogs. This one was on back order since last year and they finally got then in and sent it to me. Thanks!! Great company it was so long ago I forgot about it. It is just "GREAT in the snow & rain the water just drops off of this material. It has 2 pouches. BEAUTIFUL and SO-DURABLE. GREAT PRICE TOO!Morgan is an English AKC Yellow Labrador and a "Brilliant" minded dog. Morgan will be 4 on December 9th 2023. This year I will breed her for the first time. This is her second coat the other one is "TAN Color". Washes great and dries in the dryer also. I do not leave reviews very often but this is the best "Winter Coat"you will ever have to buy, it will last if taken care of by the owner a long long long time.
