Promise
Reminds me see of a female Sheldon. All about data and numbers. She has to learn to be human and yet she is truly human. It was a great blend of characters for these two and watching them fall was amazing.

Good One
It gets harder and harder to write reviews on these. If you've read this far than your a big fan of this series and author and you know pretty much what to expect. This was another solid installment in the world of our Dark Protectors. I have to say Nialls part in this was very satisfying. I really liked Promise, she was so smart and didn't do stupid things that our sometimes fmc find themselves doing, it was refreshing. Ivar was not my favorite, he was a bit bland. I do so love all characters from this series being included. I really love the teleporting and all the different worlds and how time passes. Onto the next one

Great combination of feelings and brain
First of all, looove the names on all mates, they’re absolutely fitting with their males and the story lines. Ivar held a special place in my heart since his first appearance. Wasn’t really sure how he would find himself again after all the hells he lived through. Promise is rational and logical but deep within she knew there was more besides rationality and logic. They were paired perfectly and their story is a great mix of logic, sweetness, love and passion, with some action on the side. Need more Dark Protectors now!

ANOTHER awesome Book!!!!
I loved this book too. I was hoping they would get Quade back. Can't wait to see what happens. I'm wondering if the Demon/fae hybrid is his mate, that's why she was able to visit him???

Utterly amazing!
I love all of Rebecca Zanetti's work, and this one is no exception. It crosses genres and his into so much detail, not only about the incredible Protectors, but their mates and children and all the incredible things they can do. It's a family of warriors who love as hard as they fight. This book was especially wonderful because of Ivar and his genius math mate, Promise. I must admit that I didn't understand half of what was happening in the math dept., but the author was kind enough to explain. (Thanks, Rebecca.) ; There are so many different things going on throughout the book that kept me constantly wanting more. I just hope that everyone will not only read this book, but all of the series. I'm truly sad that I read it so fast and don't have another night to keep going. Absolutely everything I love to read is in this book alone, but I'll wait (maybe not so patiently), fit the next one.

A Viking learning to live again + socially awkward professor = unconventional formula for love
Alpha's Promise is Ivar's turn in the spotlight! The Viking seeks to find a way to acclimate to life on Earth after being trapped in the bubble world for untold years to keep Ulric imprisoned. When he is dumped back into our timeline, he is badly hurt after traveling through loops in so many hell worlds he lost count, and he is definitely lacking social skills after so much time alone. He is sent to observe a beautiful physics professor whose knowledge may be the key to freeing the last remaining member of the Seven and destroying Ulric once and for all. What could possibly go wrong?Promise is not really very well equipped to handle social situations either. She is basically the female equivalent of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, and she may be even more socially awkward thanks to parents who placed a premium on education over emotional interaction. I have to admit, I found it very difficult to connect with her or even really like her for most of the story and that was a struggle for me.Fortunately there was plenty of action to go around as the Seven grapple with the fact that their existence has been revealed to leaders of the Realm and the Kurjans attack and infiltrate from unexpected sources. Promise does actually make strides in her work and her relationship skills as they go along, and Ivar finds himself slowly returning to life in every way that matters. He did have some deliciously alpha sexy moments, but his unwavering loyalty and commitment to freeing Quade suddenly comes into question for him as he realizes he may have another reason for living now.Alpha's Promise was not my favorite of the series so far but it was still a great read with some advancement of the overarching storyline and interaction with plenty of familiar faces from the Dark Protectors world that made me smile.

Good book...
I like this series a lot. Characters are well defined and continuity is really good. I enjoyed getting to know more about how these folk live from day to day and their fearlessness as they deal with multiple challenges. With each book you learn a little more about them and the situations they are facing. The males are loyal to each other, they have strong family ties, they love their females and to say they are protective is putting it mildly. Holds the reader's attention and moves at a good pace.

Who thought maths was sexy
Another absolutely brilliant fantastic book in this series. He's all alpha and she's all about the maths, together they make a really good pair. I would totally recommend it to everyone.

A humorous, action packed love story
I love this series. They are all fast paced, an action a minute with an ongoing plot. This one was the same. It’s well written in a humorous style with engaging characters and sweet relationship dramas. It’s a study in family and friends interaction. I can’t wait to read the next one.
