"Egg Plane P-51 Mustang Model Kit

What a nice little mustang! The tag line for my model building channel is "Model Building is supposed to be fun!", and that is exactly what these kits are, fun. The fit on them is impressive. I did a little putty work on the seems because I was trying to make them flawless, but seriously, I would not have had to do it. The instructions are pretty clean and clear, the decals worked very well. All in all a very enjoyable kit and a quick build.

SUCH a cool little kit- and by little, I mean tiny. The whole series of these planes is awesome, but we had to get the P51 to make a replica of my friend's real P51, Old Crow. My 13 year old son has been up in it, so he is now a huge fan and wants his model to resemble the real one.The quality of the kit is absolutely fantastic- I've been building plastic models since the 70's and Hasegawa has never once disappointed me with quality or detail problems.Collect the whole series, but make sure you have some really little paint brushes.

Look at it. What are you going do? Buy another regular P-51? Just buy it

Neat adaptation of a great plane. It's so darn cute I had to have it and build it to mount. Refreshing look on a well-know aircraft.

Very simple model but with great detail. These models are great for young kids because they build fast and don't have too many delicate parts.
