Disappointed
We have been using an old tin of Jeyes fluid to keep the moles away in the garden, however the recipe has changed, and it just smells like a pine disinfectant and doesn't work. It doesn't have the tar smell it used to have.

Very disappointed. Not the same jeyes fluid at all.
It's not what I want to pay for. I expected it to have it distinctive smell that also happens to mask the smell of dog wee and the like on patio. However this , whatever it is , is more like pine disinfectant and I'd be saving my self money by purchasing value pine disinfectant from the super market to do the same job.Will have to try another brand of outdoor cleaner instead.

Not the same
The product is different than before. Different colour,different smell.And it seams doesnt work as before.

Didn’t have the usual smell
I’ve used Jeyes Fluid for decades, this tin looked the same but the fluid was not anything like as strong smelling. That original smell kept dogs and cats etc away from messing again in the same spot, but this had hardly any such smell, just a mild disinfectant smell. And there’s nothing wrong with my ability to smell!! I wonder if this is the genuine article??????

More efficient diluting yourself, easy and works well....
Found this great for disinfecting slabbed area in garden where our fur kids piddle, works well and leaves the area smelling fresh. However, I dilute far less than the recommended amount in a watering can as the fumes are too strong for me otherwise whilst waiting before rinsing it off BUT it makes the tin last much longer and still removes the smell of pet pee, so win, win. I do this about once a week and I get no horrid smell lingering in the air or flies in summer 🙂p.s. also great for cleaning winter greenery off slabs, kills it.

I found a use for it that they don’t mention on the can
I’ve been using this diluted in an atomiser for a few years now, sprayed strategically, to stop foxes and cats using my garden as a toilet and I haven’t had to clean up any poop for a few years now :)) I find it way more effective than sonic repellants and any products like scoot. I also have a lot of dog walkers go past the front and if I have sprayed a bit on my gate posts they cock their leg on next doors instead.

Never used Jeyes before, and won't again
I'm not sure what this product is supposed to be for other than making the area smell like disinfectant. I used it on my block-paved patio with the correct dilution, left it for the advised amount of time (plus a bit longer) and the patio looked no different after sweeping off. I reverted to my jet washer, wondering why I'd just added an hour to the overall job plus spent £12 just to make the area smell of disinfectant.Maybe if you have an area where dogs wee/poo it has a use, but it did nothing for cleaning our patio.

dose the job well in making my patio flags look cleaner and a nice fresh smell and it is good antiseptic for garden tools.
