I've gotten alot of use out of this little pallette. I carry it with my pochade box and love it. I use it for gouache. You have to let the paint dry or clean it before turning it on its side. It is not leakproof. Will be purchasing a few more.

This palette is great & easy to clean

This is a *tiny* plastic palette when compared to similar ones the same style- the wells only hold a dab of watercolor paint- half pans fit nicely in the little wells if they are secured down.I like the smaller size because a lot of the similar ones are quite large- this one is truly one you can stash in your bag and take with you, but offer enough room for a variety of paints and plenty of room for mixes without taking up tons of desk/surface room.A downside is that watercolor beads up on the plastic, but there are ways around that- very fine grain sandpaper, magic eraser, or even just a regular white polymer eraser will help prevent that from happening.Also, the plastic it is made out of is that blue-white plastic, but I kind of like that when mixing colors because sometimes the warmer whites of plastic, at least for me, prevent me from seeing color clearly.I like this. I'm tempted to use it to make a little curated collection of colors from my larger selection of watercolors and palettes. It's so tiny and portable that I can see pulling it out often.

I feel like this was a good inexpensive choice for using as a space saver to put tubed paint into. However it doesn't feel like it will be durable over time. On opening it for the first time it felt fragile, almost brittle. Like I need to be careful with it during use. It might not be good for travel.It has a place for your thumb to hold it and mixing space. A good feature is one piece folders over the paint wells. I think that will help retain moisture and keep loose paint in it's spot.
