Worked great until it died forever
I cannot find a replacement battery for this vacuum, which I absolutely loved. Went to Batteries Plus--they only have Roomba vacuum batteries. So it was great while it lasted--picked up TONS of dog hair, dust , & dirt, really made my life easier. It IS noisy so I usually let it run while I was out & came home to clean floors. So I'm shopping for a new robot vacuum & will have to get a Roomba because of the battery situation. It just won't hold a charge anymore.

Great for hardwood floors, but...
After doing a lot of research and comparing ratings to prices I decided on this robotic vacuum. After it arrived, I charged it overnight and let it go to town on the hardwood first floor the next day. It did wonders. All those little pieces of whatever that are all over the place were sucked up into this guy. So I figured I'd see what it would do on the upstairs carpet. I let it go crazy upstairs while I took a shower. While showering, I thought I heard a sound similar to "thud thud thud thud thud CRASH". Having a dog, sometimes noises like that are easily explainable so I didn't panic. Once I was finished with my shower I heard the vacuum running DOWNSTAIRS, whereas I had left it upstairs. As best I can figure, the vacuum did a pac-man down the stairs and hit the wall hard enough at the bottom to leave a 4x2 inch dent. So, I only run the vacuum downstairs now. That being said, I still love this thing. It does wonders for dog hair and all the little crumbs of crap that accumulate on a hardwood floor. So, while I can't attest to the excellence of the vacuum on carpet or stair-avoidance, I can say it rocks on flat surfaces.

Cheap but..
This is my first purchase from this company. The vacuum is so so when it comes to its suction power. Good enough for light dusting so you have to sweep first before using this vacuum. The quality of this vacuum is bad because I purchased another unit because of the price, but I guess you get what you pay for (though they have raised the price). The second unit I had broke after 15 months. It just keeps going backwards, then the sensor failed and the robot fell off the stairs and broke a wheel. I emailed them thinking they would advise me on repair, etc. but what I got was a notice that its out of warranty....so that means their product, support is only good for a year. I also own a Roomba that was past its warranty that developed a software glitch. Roomba sent me a patch with no cost to me. That is customer support. With Metapo....they dont care. I give them NO STARS.UPDATE Oct. 7, 2014After a week....they sent me an email backtracking on their policy. They tell me that there is customer support for their product past the warranty period and they are waiving the repair costs (parts and labor). So as of today I have shipped it back to them for repair. I paid for shipping but its fair to me. I am happy for now so I am giving them 3 stars. We will see if they repaired it right and only then will I update my review. My newer unit is still doing OK....so I'm wishing it will not break down. I need a stronger vacuum so I will give them a second chance. I know I'm a sucker for buying again from this company....but their HOVO vacuum is the cheapest out there because they are giving me $30 off and their list price is cheaper than Amazon & WalMart. I am hoping that HOVO is better than my Infinuvo QQ1 and QQ2. They also claim that HOVO runs for 80 minutes compared to QQ2'sย Infinuvo Infinuvo Hovo 510 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner with Home Charging Station, Scheduler, Remote Control, UV Light and Virtual Blocker 40 minutes.

Love it!
I have had this little guy for over 4 months now and I still love it!! I have two dogs, one cat and a 1-year old son. My animals are mostly indoor pets. I use the vacuum almost every day while my little man eats snack in his high chair. I run it for about 30 minutes at a time, making sure to empty it after each use. I also do not charge it unless the battery is all the way dead in hopes of extending the battery life. Really simplifies my life since I don't have to pull out the big vacuum for daily sweeping. Yes, sweeping: do not expect to use this little guy on carpet (I'm perfectly happy with that b/c that's not what I bought him for).Pros: not too noisy, not complicated to operate, cleans up daily pet hair and dirt, 60-80 min battery life, sweeps most of my harwood/ceramic/vinyl floor in the time it takes me to clean up after dinnerCons: Timer does not show you how much time is left in the cycle (you need to check the clock when you turn him on and time him yourself, there is no countdown), needs to be emptied frequently or it won't suck up all the pet hairOverall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and have already recommended it to others!Update: It's been about 10 months since I've purchased my vacuum. I still LOVE it and use it almost every day. However, last week the battery died. Every time I turned him on he ran for about 2 minutes then died. I researched new batteries on Amazon and eBay, they run about $35. I contemplated the purchase for a little bit becuase the whole vacuum was only $140. But, then I realized how much I use it and how much it helps me (the pet hair just gets pushed around with the broom and this guy picks it up for me!) so I got the new battery. The next time it dies I may just look at buying a new machine just in case other parts start to wear out in that time frame too. Overall, still satisfied!
