RC Front Loader

We love this truck so much we bought another one so our two grandsons can enjoy them together! My husband and I don't like battery operated toys but this one is great letting our grandson's use their imaginations as they work and manipulate their trucks loading and dumping their "supplies."

My nephew loved receiving this for Christmas. He has already used it for hours! Very well built, battery life is great.

The controller has two joysticks like a Playstation video game controller, and each stick controls one side of the machine, like a skid steer. If you hold one stick forward and the other backwards, it will spin 360's, which is pretty fun. The controller has buttons on the top that raise and lower the bucket and as it cycles it automatically kind of dumps a little at the top and flattens back out at the bottom. There are multicolored bright lights in the cab. The loader features some neat details, like an air cleaner and smoke stack. Everything works, though I haven't had it long. The controller needs two aa batteries that aren't included, and the loader uses a rechargeable battery pack that is included, however there is no charger included, just a USB adapter. I guess they figure everyone already has a cell phone charger, but I was a little disappointed at the oversight. I have left off a star because you really have to be within like 6 feet of the loader or the remote starts to cut out. It's fun for kids to play with but I expected a little more range even for something this cheap. Also, mine does not play "gagnum style" and after reading everyone else's reviews I was disappointed. Mine plays a couple generic songs and a few other sound effects. All songs play from the controller itself.

My girl loves it

Gave this to my nephew for Christmas this year and he loved it! It's all plastic and I hope he doesn't break it, but it was fun to watch him try and work the remote. He might be a little young at 3.5 years old but I loved remote controls when I was younger and couldn't resist. The buttons in the center are for making dump truck noises and the steering is done with the two joysticks. The steering was a little confusing I thought because each side only controls 1 side of the truck. Most remotes have a forward/backward stick and then a right/left stick. This one you turn it by only pressing forward on 1 side and then press both forward to make it go straight. He will get it though, I could tell he was having a blast. You control the dump on the truck by pressing either of the 2 buttons on the top of the remote. They both do the same thing, so you can press either one. Overall, I think it's a great toy, we will just have to see how long it takes him to break it :)!

My son (3 yrs old) has a few models of Top Race remote control construction equipment vehicles. They were given to him by our cousins for Christmas. All the kids in the neighborhood gravitate towards these vehicles and love to play with them when they visit. There is one particular little guy who especially loves them. When his birthday rolled around, I knew exactly what to get him. Being that I did not purchase the items we own, I searched online for the same brand. I was pleased to find several models on Amazon. The recipient seems to LOVE his front end loader. His mom even said it has become the envy in their household as this little guy's younger brother wants his turn every time the toy comes out. The item was received quickly & appeared just as described. According to the toy's new owner, it appears to be working just as it should! I highly recommend this for countless hours of fun!

FINAL UPDATE 08.10.2015-I received a different replacement toy from Top Race, a remote controlled acrobatic cartoon plane, free of charge within 3 days of talking to Top Race. The replacement toy is very nice and sturdy. I once again raised my star rating to 3 stars solely on customer service, not the initial product I received which was the dump truck. I'm glad Top Race reached out to find out why I rated the dump truck as a 1 star. It was very thoughtful that they sent a gift for my grandson (he hasn't tried it out yet) due to being dissatisfied with the quality and description of the dump truck. Thanks, Ben at Top Race. UPDATE 08.05.2015-I raised my star rating from a 1 star to a 3 star solely based on customer service. I was just contacted by Ben with Top Race. He inquired as to why I rated the product as a 1 star and I explained, just as you'll see below in my initial review. He was insistent on finding out what he could do to make me a satisfied customer since I didn't call them initially before posting a review (as he reminded me the customer service number was on the box). He and I discussed my concerns about the product description and how misleading or vague it was. He stated he was going to go to the proper department to discuss this further and see if they could update the product description based on my complaints. He offered, as a peace offering, to send my grandson a different Top Race replacement toy free of charge due to me being inconvenienced. Therefore, I thought it was fair to raise the rating simply for customer service. Not many companies reach out to dissatisfied customers looking to make things right and try to revise their listing to make it more accurate. INITIAL REVIEW: I purchased this truck for my grandson's birthday gift. It just arrived and, as always, I open things up to inspect them before giving them as a gift. Be careful in believing the reviews as it seems most reviewers received a discount for their reviews. The truck is made out of cheap plastic as well as the remote control which is extremely lightweight. I'd say one drop on a hard surface such as concrete and the remote would crack. It feels very hollow. The buttons on the remote rattle when lightly shaken. Definitely not worth $30. I am returning this item pronto but not-so-much for what I described. The biggest complaint is the sounds in which the description indicates the truck makes. Not true. The remote is where the sounds come from and it's quite annoying! Very loud, fuzzy noises with music. The truck itself makes no sounds at all. I couldn't believe it. The truck has only lights where the driver seat is. A flashing light that changes from red to blue. That's it. If you look closely on the front of the box, it's quite clear that the truck's headlights are lit up. False. There are only red plastic covers where the headlights are but no lights at all. I can put my finger underneath the truck behind the red plastic cover and there's a small hole where I can see my finger. Nothing at all there. Extremely misleading and I'm not sure how the company is allowed to depict such a false picture of the product's features that don't exist. Garbage!

Great vehicle for the cost

De graafmachine gister voor Sinterklaas gegeven. Vandaag heeft me zoontje er een half uur mee gespeeld. De graafmachine begon te stinken en te roken. Ook de duracell batterijen werden heel heet.

Die Bagger ist seit über einem Jahr regelmäßig bei uns im Einsatz und immer noch sehr beliebt. Mein Neffe hat damit bereits mit 3 Jahren gespielt und ist inzwischen 4 geworden – das Spielzeug hat ihn durchgehend begleitet und nichts von seinem Reiz verloren. Die Bedienung ist für Kinder gut verständlich & Intuitiv: Die Fernbedienung reagiert zuverlässig und die Schaufelbewegungen sind realistisch genug, um fantasievolles Spielen für Kinder zu ermöglichen. Besonders positiv finde ich die robuste Verarbeitung – trotz häufigem Einsatz, auch mal etwas ruppigerem Spielen, funktioniert alles noch einwandfrei. Positiv: Hoher Spielspaß über einen langen Zeitraum Kindgerechte Steuerung Stabil und langlebig verarbeitet Fördert Rollenspiel und Motorik Kleiner Hinweis: Wie bei vielen Spielzeugen dieser Art sollte man auf ausreichend Platz achten, damit das Kind frei spielen kann – technisch gab es bei uns jedoch keinerlei Probleme. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungenes Spielzeug, das nicht nur kurz begeistert, sondern wirklich langfristig genutzt wird. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung.
