So happy we tried this
We watched a show where a man traveled the Caribbean islands and on one excursion went to the Greneda Chocolate Company. It was cool seeing how the towns people help with every aspect and the owners vision for the company. We decided to try the chocolate and so glad we did. Wonderful!

Not good from this source
I was in the Grenadines in August and purchased the Nib-A-Licious bar from the Grenada Chocolate Company store on the island. The chocolate was amazing and although I bought a couple of bars I wish I had purchased more. I was thrilled when I saw the chocolate on Amazon, and of course ordered more. The chocolate I received via Amazon has a best by date of 9/6/19 which on the surface seems okay, but it doesn't taste at all like the chocolate I bought on the island with a best by date of 5/16/21. It is hard, dry and lacks the same rich flavor of the fresher bars. Not only do they not taste the same, they aren't good at all. Maybe they weren't stored at the right temperature... I tried to return them, but the seller, "Grounds for Tea" do not accept returns.

a bit pricey but it's supposed to be the best. There are bits of uncrushed cacao in the chocolate to reaffirm its authenticity.

Don't make the same mistake by buying just one! This is by far the best chocolate I have ever tasted and I am including Godiva and Ghirardelli and Lindt. It has sort of a slight raspberry taste, smooth but has a few crunchies in it. Amazing!!

Excellent packaging and shipping of a product I did not like the taste of.
Nothing wrong with the product except the taste. It is probably like fine wines where a true aficionado would appreciate tannin, earthy nuances and other things that make wine taste what I call bitter and what they call "dry." Just saying, for a guy who likes mamby pamby store-bought name brand dark chocolate with sea salt bars, this ain't that. Now maybe it was intended for cooking with, where other things in the recipe are going to be included, but I thought it was a chocolate bar. If you like really hard core bitter chocolate this might be just right for you.

Yum!
One of my favorite chocolate bars. I had the opportunity to actually visit the plantation where these bars are made, and it is gorgeous! The company has a beautiful story, and the chocolate is delicious!
