Q: Can this glue to bond wood to melamine?

No. Melamine is non porous. A good rubber cement is a better choice.

Q: Does this glue dry clear or white?

I use it to bond wood, no visible glue line. It’s yellow when it sits out to dry.

Q: Can this be used as an MDF or particle board edge sealer?

I've used this product as a sealer for many things including MDF or particle board and it has always met my needs. I find that keeping within the manufacturers application parameters produces very good results.

Q: Is this good for gluing wood veneer?

Yes. If it has a little grain to it. If not then a light sanding just to reduce slippery Varner coating.
