I purchased the Alba Botanica - gardenia - shampoo nine months ago because I tried it in a friend’s shower and loved the authentic smell of gardenias, something I grew up with. At first I used it just as shampoo, but soon I started using it for body wash and facial cleanser as well. It is great in all three uses. I use a single pump for my hair and another one or two for the rest of my body. It lathers really well! My skin doesn’t feel dried out afterwards either. I shower every other day or so and I’m buying my second bottle now. There’s a LOT of product in the bottle.

Tried this at an airbnb in florida and it made my hair soft and manageable. I had volume and I actually really liked the scent although im not really into gardenia smell.There is no lather on this but i still like it. I live in Ny and the water is different here so it has a different effect on hair but still overall i am very satisfied with this shampoo

I love the scent. It is a lovely floral that I wish everything in my life smelled like. For now I will just have to settle for just my hair smelling this awesome. I have been trying different sulfate free shampoos and I think this one the best so far. I have been using it for over 2 months now. It takes a lot of product to work up a suds, even with a shampoo brush. Sometimes I actually need to "rinse and repeat" but since there aren't sulfates here to give a huge lather, that is to be expected. My hair comes out very clean. I would suggest this to a friend and buy again but BE SURE TO GET THE CONDITIONER. This shampoo is not moisturizing at all and you will need a conditioner with this shampoo. That being said, the Alba conditioners are great and a nice price and I will buy them again together.

I like this shampoo a lot. It leaves my hair looking soft and pretty, and doesn't make it unmanageable. I am surprised to get such a good shampoo for such a low price.

I like that this lacks a lot of the nasty ingredients found in so many beauty products, and I LOVE the scent. Unfortunately, though, it makes my scalp extremely itchy. For that reason, I won't buy it again.

My hair is so smooth and soft while lathering, I really feel the emollient properties in this formula! Sometime I like the feel so much I skip the conditioner!Really does improve your hairs health, look, feel, and moisture level with every wash! I love that I feel so healthy when using this!! Great for natural hair and defining natural hair texture.

Beautiful natural fragrance of gardenias. For people who like a strong fragrance it takes you away to sunny days in the tropics and leaves your hair soft shiny and manageable. Use with gardenia conditioner for the full experience

This shampoo and the same conditioner works great, smells amazing, and is all natural! Yes it is more expensive then most, but I find the bottle still lasts me over a month. Great service by amazon as well, delivered next day :)

The smell is great and it has a heady lather but it doesn't do much else for my hair. May use for body wash or to shampoo my guinea pigs.

I like these products the shampoo and conditioned they strengthen my hair and no split ends or my hair falling out during washing.
